Peaceful and Beautiful

My partner and I booked this cabin at the Gone West Ranch for Valentine’s Day weekend and had the most wonderful time. We felt so cozy and had everything we could ever need during our stay. Could not recommend this little place enough and we will absolutely be trying to come back sometime!

Great Hideaway!

We loved it! The cabin is very charming and our hosts thought of everything. The outdoor space is set up very comfortably with a fire pit, nice seating and even a swing. The cabin is nicely decorated and well appointed. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again soon.

Hill Country Paradise

The property was perfect. Came to Fredericksburg for the town but enjoyed spending the evenings/nights at the house by the firepit and a cold drink. This place is a great place to relax and reset.

Perfect getaway to relax!

We had a wonderful time relaxing at this cute cabin surrounded by nature while exploring Fredericksburg! It has everything you could possibly need! Owners made great suggestions for dinner in town!

Convenient country stay

Close to town, with plenty of country attributes. Great front porch for watching birds and wildlife. Everything from arrival to departure was very easy and efficient.

Great Birthday Get Away!

What a beautiful, peaceful place to stay while enjoying Fredericksburg!! My 2 daughters and I celebrated birthdays and loved being able to shop, go to wineries and out to eat but come back to a relaxing cabin at the ranch. The outdoor space was fabulous. We enjoyed being able to play games and cook too. Perfect get away weekend!

Amazing Fredericksburg Cabin

The property was fantastic! The place was spotless and adorable. We enjoyed our time at the cabin so much that we spent more time there during our stay than we originally had planned. The outdoor space was an extra bonus! I highly recommend staying here! We’ll definitely stay here again when we come back to Fredericksburg.

Weekend get away

We loved our stay at the cabin! So clean and had everything we needed. It was close enough to town to enjoy the wineries and downtown. It is fairly close to the highway so there was road noise but we still enjoyed our time on the porch!

Neal and Pam Martin are originally from the Houston area, and decided to fulfill their dream of living in the Texas Hill County in 2015 by purchasing property near Fredericksburg, Texas. The cabin was completed in 2019, and while they lived in the barn and RV, they completed their home late 2021.

Quiet and secluded, private and secure entrance, relaxing country atmosphere with all the amenities. Close to town, only 10 minutes away from downtown Fredericksburg and the 290 wine trail. You will see wildlife, beautiful sunsets, and feel the soft breezes from this hilltop property.
