Välkommen till vårt fritidshus! Nybyggd 2019, Riverview Cottage ligger i hjärtat av centrala New Buffalo i ett lugnt och pittoreskt område. Vårt hus ligger på en deadend street med utsikt över Galien River Marsh med fantastisk utsikt över solnedgången. Du kan gå till allt - bara några kvarter från restauranger (Stray Dog, Redamaks, etc.), den lokala mataffären, butikerna och den offentliga stranden. Nära till kasinot, vingårdar och bryggerier i Harbour Country. Tillbringa dagen på stranden eller umgås i vår privata uppvärmda förening pool bara några steg från huset. Detta hus är vackert inredda och designat för stora gruppsemester. Vårt hus har ett fullt utrustat gourmetkök med ett matbord med plats för 12 bekvämt plus 4 till på ön, ett vardagsrum med stor TV och gasspis, en rolig och avkopplande källare som inkluderar en stor TV, poker- / kortsbord och underbara anpassade våta bar. Koppla av med en cocktail på den täckta verandan eller koppla av med en bok på den medföljande bakre uteplatsen. Vår trädgård inkluderar ett utomhus matbord, en gasgrill, en eldstad och en utomhusdusch. Allt du behöver för att bygga underbara minnen med vänner och familj!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was completely clean when we arrived. It's decorated really nicely and all of the rooms were very comfortable and modern. We highly recommend this house!

Wonderful long weekend getaway!

Family summer getaway

We had such a wonderful stay at Dans Riverview cottage! It’s walking distance to everything, has everything you could ask for and allowed the entire extended family (from 3–72) to comfortably stay together. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect spot for a group with kids

The kids loved the pool and the easy scooter ride to the beach. Parents were able to enjoy time walking thru the little town, eating and drinking at local spots and it was so easy to spend hours at the beach with the whole crew.

Amazing family vacation home

The house comfortably fit our mulitple family vacation. Kitchen was perfect with everything we needed. Bathrooms were luxurious. Beds comfortable and location was perfect. Owners were super responsive.

Wonderful house and location !

We had a great experience renting and staying at this beautiful home! The home is well appointed, beautifully decorated, and cozy. All beds are very comfortable. Walking distance to downtown New Buffalo and near the beach makes it a great location. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect weekend getaway

We had a group of 11 adults traveling to New Buffalo for a weekend without the kids. This house was perfect! It had plenty of space and was exceptionally clean. We really loved that we could walk everywhere we wanted to go! We didn’t have any issues at all, and would love to stay again. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend!

We loved this house! Not only is the style of the house impeccable and adorable, but it was also nicely equipped from dishes to linens to shampoo and conditioner. The location cannot be beat! We love walking to the beach, downtown and pool. The street is quiet and safe (you don’t really notice the trains coming through and when you do, they are gone so quickly. The owner is super responsive and kind. The community pool could use some cleaning and a few updated chairs but this house is perfect and we had the best time!

Family get away

Lots of quiet time sitting on porches. Pool daily and walked to town and went to dunes and brewery’s. Such a wonderful location. Beds were so comfortable. Homey and wonderful neighborhood w other renters that we met last year weee there this same week as us. Perfect in every way!

Everything you need!

This place was perfect for a large friends’ weekend! It was perfectly decorated and set up! They make the most of every space so there are plenty of seating and bedding options! The location is easily walking distance to everything in downtown New Buffalo. We couldn’t have found a better place for what we needed!

Wonderful property

We had a wonderful family vacation. This home was beautiful and they thought of all details to make it a wonderful stay. There were so many additional items we weren’t expecting such as the bathrooms being stocked with some toiletries and each shower even had hair products and body wash. I would suggestion you mention items you have available to take to the beach such as wagons and chairs so that people don’t have to try to fit those items in their cars to travel. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the accessibility of pool. The listing implied a“private” pool for a small neighborhood of homes but we found the pool was always full with large families and tons of kids. There weren’t any chairs even available to use and we really could only use it late around 9pm until closing when those families were doing bedtime. Thank you for sharing this wonderful vacation home.

Enjoyed walking to town. You do need to bring your own supplies. Needed to purchase extra paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags. They don’t supply much. Had one issue with communication with owners. The pool gate was not working and some of our group and 2 other families renting were locked in the pool. The electric gate would not work. Called owner for help and he said he would make calls but never did. Finally reached the person he said he would call an hour later and she had never heard from him. She did help and had a contractor out quickly to help.

Not perfect

The home is very well decorated and furnished but there are a few negatives. First thing that is not mentioned in the Home description is that this property is directly across the railroad tracks and a loud amtrak train flys by every few hours. The second thing is the owner has a check out process in which they want you to strip the beds, take out all the garbage and do the dishes before you leave. We paid a hefty sum per night (for a winter stay with no access to pool) plus a cleaning fee.. Why are we being told to clean and leave the place basically spotless AND have to pay a ridiculous cleaning fee. Thats absurd for the amount we paid in total. I left 4 stars because its a nice place and Im a nice guy but people definitely should know about the train tracks and the expectations from the owner with the high price tag.
