Pet-friendly house in great location

Home is spacious with lots of room for everyone. It was more than we needed for our family of 3, but was the only home available that allowed pets over the holiday weekend. Nice fenced in back yard. There were bags provided to clean up after dogs but we brought our own scoop to clean up o

Home was very well laid out for our family. Plenty of seating for us all. Nice fenced back yard. We enjoyed our stay and may use the home again when needed. Only big draw back was the neighbor’s dogs barked a lot.

Spring break

I rented the property for my son and his family. The Property is conveniently located close to anything you need. My son, daughter in law and grandbabies were very excited. Had an amazing time. My son says they will stay there again..

Last minute escape

This was a very last minute trip. I booked Saturday to be there Tuesday. Sandi was great to work with. Very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Check in was a piece of cake. We didn’t park in the garage since you had to enter through the alley. We just parked in front of the house. The house has a lot of space. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 kids. Location was great. Close to shopping and places to eat. The pictures did show a swing set in the backyard, but that is no longer there. I know one of the reviews did say it was broken. My little nephew was disappointed. There was a pipe in the ground without a cover on it, so that made me nervous with the kids…especially a 3 year old little boy. My SIL loved having a washer and a dryer with having 3 kids with her. The house could use a good, deep clean and some updating, but it worked fine for us.

A wonderful home away from home

I wrote a stunning review for this host and home in June 2022 when my brothers and I were moving my Dad to Amarillo for assisted living. Only one of us lives in Amarillo. With a small apartment, we needed a home base and a place for Dad while we got his apartment ready. This time unfortunately we rented this house again for the family to come back for Dad's funeral. The house was perfect. Comfortable beds, lots of hotwater, big kitchen and plenty of seating at the dining room and in the living room. Sweet backyard and patio and a garage in back. All located in a nice and safe neighborhood. Our hostess was so kind, thoughtful and accommodating. We were wanting to eat in during our whole visit. We especially wanted to grill the day of the funeral. I mentioned this and there was a new grill on the patio when we got there. Having this comfortable, very clean and comfy/ cozy space where there was room for all of us made tge week there under tough circumstances do much more pleasant. We were so very grateful for the entire experience. Thank you thank you thank you.

Palo Duro Canyon Christmas

We had a great time being all together in one house. We had to be creative with sleeping arrangements because the hide a bed was not fit to sleep on. It was pet friendly we have a service dog, however the yard had to be cleaned from other dogs poop. The whole house could use a good cleaning, but we still enjoyed each other's company and our stay.

Lovely home. Great hosts

This was the perfect place for my extended family to stay while moving my Dad into assisted living. All the beds were comfy and plenty of hot water. There was also plenty of room with multiple seating in the livingroom and diningroom. The neighborhood is nice and very quiet with a great little fenced in backyard. The host was very quick to reply and so very kind and helpful when I had a couple of special requests. We will definately be back.

Great Hub location for surrounding Amarillo exploration

Visited Palo Duro Canyon and Capulin volcano in New Mexico. Great central location for both areas. Property was very comfortable and clean and was a breeze to get in and out of and close to several great restaurants. Would stay here again.

Comfy home, quiet neighborhood

We enjoyed our first vrbo experience here. The property was on a low traffic and quiet neighborhood. We all fit comfortably. The girls were happy to choose their own room and the dogs were huge fans of the yard. It is a roomy home that is bigger inside than what you would expect. Everything was neat and cleaned well. The one thing that I would say was the swing set in the back is broken and it would be a big plus to eliminate it. I will definitely be looking to come back to the property next time I visit my family in Amarillo.

Comfortable, clean home in a great location

This home was exactly what we needed for our visit in Amarillo. It had plenty of space and everything we needed for our family of five, it was in a great location and it was spotless on top of all of that! We would definitely stay here again!

Great Neighborhood for a Family Visit

We met the family and just stayed a few nights and cooked and visited. It is a very comfortable home with plenty of room for kids to run and adults to sit and enjoy. The kitchen was well prepared to cook and serve food. We all had a great time. Thank you for the hospitality!

Weekend Trip

This property was a perfect hub for our weekend stay to visit family and see the play Texas in Palo Duro Canyon. We were even able to take the top off our Jeep since we had access to a garage. House was roomy and perfectly located to anything you might want or need. Property manager was quick to respond to any questions we had about our stay. Overall enjoyable experience.

Great House in a great Location

This is a lovely , clean home in a quiet neighborhood, in a great location. We stayed here and went to visit Palo Duro Canyon (30 minutes) and Caprock Canyon (1.5 hrs away) - highly recommend both. Also check out the wonderful Panhandle Plains Historical Museum in Canyon (30 minutes away) and eat at Feldman’s or Buffs - both are great! Communication with the owner was great and there were plenty of supplies in the house for all our needs. Tons of restaurants and things to do close by. We will definitely book this home again next time we are in the Panhandle. Thanks so much for sharing your sweet home with us Sandi!
