The house really couldn’t be better! It’s beautifully decorated and clean, has most everything you could need, and is so spacious. The yard and privacy, and easy parking, were such a nice bonus. Absolutely perfect location, so close walking to the busy town center but on a very quiet street. Carine was responsive, had almost no special requirements about checking out, and was right next door if needed. Having a dryer in addition to the washer was also a plus. Can’t imagine a much better place to stay in Bayeux!

Charming, Quiet, convenient to Bayeux, D-Day Memorials.

The house was absolutely charming, sparkling clean, with attention to every detail a guest could need. Check in and communication was prompt and very easy. Location was very quiet street with lovely gardens to relax in. I didn’t notice laundry being available on listing but there is both a washer and dryer on the property. An easy walking distance to downtown Bayeux for shopping and restaurants. We found this location restful and convenient as we toured Mt St Michel one day and spent another day at the D-Day Memorial area. Highly recommend!

Gem in Bayeux!

This wonderful home was perfect for our Normandy stay. It is close to city center and made seeing the sites and beaches quite easy from a central location. Private yard, great and communicative owners and a well stocked, beautiful home made for a perfect trip. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again! Perfect for families!

The Perfect Home in a Lovely City

We could not have asked for a lovelier home in a more perfect location. We spent four days in Bayeux, visiting its museums and taking a private tour of the Normandy landing beaches and surrounding environs. Carine is the perfect host, and the house a lovely respite!

Fabulous property!

This house was perfect. Check-in process was seamless. House was exactly as advertised-it was clean, spacious and in an incredible location. Walkable to a grocery store, the historic downtown (Tapestry museum and Cathedral), and lots of shops and restaurants. Host was communcative and helpful. Would definitely book again!

Bayeux Bliss

Beautiful little house close to the center of Bayeux. Very well equipped, a short walk to boulangeries, patisseries, restaurants and groceries. Comfortable beds, nearly instantaneous communications with host Carine, and a nice quiet location. If you are lucky, you may get a visit from the gorgeous Gaspard the cat!

Honestly this is the most beautiful, well equipped and spacious house I have ever rented. And I have rented properties all over the world. Communication was very easy, check in was easy, and location was excellent to explore Bayeux and all the beauty of Normandy. Carine’s taste in all of the furnishing, fixtures, linens, bedding and kitchen items are impeccable. I can not rate this property highly enough. If I am ever back in this part of France I will spend another week there. Karen

Best VRBO in fabulous location

This house is truly one of the best VRBO we have stayed in. It is even nicer in person than in the photos. Great bright home and super super clean. Beautifully decorated. Well equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay. We loved it. Close to Bayeux old town and a great launching spot for all the war sites. Communication was quick and accurate. A stress free experience all around. I’d recommend this to anyone. We were a family of 4 adults. Lots of space.

Amazing!

This is a house, all on the ground level, with magnificent space! It is an easy walk to everything in town, and secure, private parking. The home is beautifully decorated. The host lives right next door and is easily reached; communication was excellent. This is by far the most beautiful property I have stayed at in France!

We had an excellent stay - the house was clean, spacious and our host was incredibly communicative. so close to the old town - everything was walking distance. great little shops and cafes, meeting point for dday tours, solid museums. would definitely recommend foe a stay.

Heel fijn huis op korte afstand van centrum Bayeux en bezienswaardigheden

Heel prettig verblijf een een leuk huis dat compleet is ingericht. Niet super luxe maar alles is aanwezig dat nodig is voor een prettig verblijf. Keuken en badkamer zijn prima in orde, de bedden zijn een beetje aan de harde kan maar liggen prima. Het huis is toegankelijk via een op afstand bedienbare elektrische poort en de auto kan geparkeerd worden op de oprit bij het huis. Opladen van onze elektrische auto was mogelijk via een stopcontact buiten, nadat we hiervoor toestemming hadden gevraagd aan de eigenaar. Het huis ligt aan een redelijk drukke weg waar een maximale snelheid geldt van 30 km/h, echter niemand die zich hier aan houdt (net zoal in Nederland). Dit brengt toch wat geluidoverlast met zich mee en daarmee ook aan het enige minpuntje aan het huis: gezellig buiten zitten is door het verkeer in de straat maar ook door het zeer eenvoudige metalen tuinsetje niet erg uitnodigend. Voor de rest en top huis met een zeer aardige eigenaar, wonende naast het vakantiehuis en respecteert uitstekend de privacy van de gasten.

Very nice and cosy house near the center of Bayeux. Can only recommend to stay hear. Brilliant alternative to hotel - especially if you need several rooms. Great communication with the host, who is very kind and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay in this house.

Beautiful property and wonderful owners

Carine was so communicative and responded immediately when we had any questions (or when we didn't know how to properly use the laundry!) The property is exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. We had a family of 5 stay very comfortably. We will come again!
