Get Ready for Island Time

This is a cozy place yet roomy as well. The yard is large and also useful for storing bicycles, taking outdoor showers, and such. The bedrooms are comfortable and we slept easily and work up refreshed. Love the Breakfast Porch area.

Nice house.....TERRIBLE beds!

The house was appointed well enough but the beds simply terrible. All of them were hard to sleep in... no one had a good sleep. Springs pocking through into my back is simply not acceptable.

Our second stay here - another nice experience!

We stayed here in August of 2021 and the property is pretty much the same. House is modest but adequately equipped. Laundry machines are new and everything is in working order. The cable TV is basic servcie but we were not in Chincoteague for that! Besides, the WiFi is prefectly satisfactory. The location is very convenient to explore the town, the neighborhood is quiet and friendly, and Debbie is an easygoing, generous host. We will plan to stay again!

Beautiful house

We were delighted with the lovely house. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The beds were comfortable. And it was very clean would definitely recommend for a family stay!

A Great Gettaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well stocked. The neighborhood was quiet but a bit of a walking distance to Maddox blvd. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Wonderful Family Vacation!

The property was perfect for our family of 5. Location was perfect. The only complaint I had was the beds. The mattresses were too hard, I ended up going to a Walmart 1/2 hour away to get a mattress topper for the master bedroom.

Charming house, good location

Charming and clean house, we had a great time! A/C and hot water are excellent! Great yard and location! Some notes for planning: transitions between rooms are not ideal for anyone with mobility concerns. Twin mattresses were uncomfortable for adults. No dishwasher or hair dryer, but it was easy to adjust and the kitchen was well provisioned overall!

Nice getaway

Nice clean property that we enjoyed during our visit to Chincoteague. Convenient to businesses, but tucked away from any hustle and bustle. I would recommend for your stay.

Great rental

Our family of five really loved this rental house. It was extremely clean. The house set up was great-with master downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen was well stocked! It was great to have two full bathrooms. The decor was very nice and I loved the exposed brick and beam. It was just a really cute and comfortable home in a convenient location. I think it’s much cuter in person than the pictures look. Only suggestion if you rent is to bring pillows from home. Master bedroom could use two more! Bring bug spray.

Very enjoyable!

The house is nice and has a lot of character. It's very centrally located and we returned each day for lunch. We even walked to the farmer's market on Wednesday. We had a fire in the pit one evening, which was quite relaxing.

Great location

Enjoyed our stay at this house. It was in a great location. House was on a quiet street and had everything we needed. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the mattress in master bedroom was very uncomfortable.

A delightful vacation house

Out vacation on Chincoteague Island was made even better by staying at this house. We especially loved the fire pit on the back patio and the sun porch. We met some neighbors when we arrived who were welcoming and very helpful. This house is walking distance to the downtown area/park and a short drive to Assateague Island! There were transitions between every room due to slightly different floor levels. We all tripped on them many times in the 1st couple of days so I wouldn't recommend this house if you have anyone with mobility issues. Other than that we'd be happy to rent it again. 2 full bathrooms is another plus!

Our first VRBO experience and it was a very good one!

We have been to Chincoteague before but not stayed in a VRBO (or Air**b) property until now. This place and the hosts were a pleasantly positive experience. Other reviewers have provided accurate details about the current condition of the property...I can add that there is a pretty new laundry washine set and water heater; hot water was in plentiful supply and all appliances worked well. There is no dishwasher but that is easy to adapt to. The enclosed foyer is a nice plus as a staging area for luggage and helps keep the rest of the house clean on rainy/beach-sandy days! We're definitely going to try to be repeat customers!

Happy Cheerful Home

This house is a happy and cheerful home. I especially love the entry porch area. You may open the windows (screens are in place) and you can hear the seagulls and birds in the distance as you eat breakfast. The living room is very cozy and the kitchen well equipped. All the beds are very comfortable. The house is bigger than it looks. Great bathrooms too. We enjoyed the outdoor shower after returning from the beach. At night we had a nice fire in the firepit and enjoyed picking out the constellations! Overall a happy and cheerful time as you remember Island Time makes time memorable.
