Welcome to Thames Riverfront, our luxurious 3 bed/2 bath apartment with spectacular river views! It happily embraces 4 guests and is located on River Thames in the Royal Docks of London. Central, yet secluded, with easy access to public transport! Available for 4 guests on a short-let/holiday basis for individual/corporate travellers / professionals / families. Our beautiful home is located on the front of a modern, central yet quiet, riverside development sitting right on the north bank of the River Thames in the Royal Docks of London, only a 5 minute walk from King George V Docklands Light Railway station. The Royal Docks is a quiet residential area steeped in London history, where merchant ships docked in the heyday of the English Empire and where the ‘Mayflower’ embarked for its famous voyage to America in 1620, approximately 800 yards from the apartment. Today the characteristic old warehouses have been transformed to designer apartments, surrounded by supermarkets, excellent restaurants, cafés and boutiques.

During your stay at the Thames Riverfront, enjoy fresh walks around the numerous canals of the famous Docklands and the City areas discovering London’s old shipping/finance history. Reinvent yourself and unwind in East End’s diverse street markets and leisure spots that are full of shopping and culinary surprises! On your return, our sleek apartment will provide the final relaxing touch to a full day as it is furnished to the highest standards and benefits from amazing Thames river views from the living room and two of the three bedrooms, an ultra modern open plan (yet secluded) kitchen, two stylish bathrooms, very good storage, wooden flooring and a sizeable balcony. There is also a large communal courtyard and landscaped gardens for the use of all guests and children and with views of the Thames River and towards South East London, Greenwich and Canary Wharf.

Being compulsive travellers like you, it unfortunately means that we will not be able to personally welcome you at times. In compensation, we have a professionally trained Welcome Team, who are available to check you in/out and will be on call to ensure your comfort throughout your stay. It goes without saying, however, that we are your first port of call for requests and bookings and remain fully contactable by email throughout your stay. After all, it is our home and we have at heart the best interests of all parties involved . Feel free to drop us a line with your enquiry/review any time. The Thames Riverfront is ideal for people travelling to and from the prestigious London City Airport and Woolwich Arsenal (only one stop on DLR) as well as picturesque Greenwich village on the south bank of the river, the financial hub and cosmopolitan shopping centres/restaurants/leisure facilities of Canary Wharf – ‘the Little New York’ of London (only 10 minutes on DLR), the international Excel Exhibition Centre, spectacular O2 arena and commercial Stratford city (only 10 minutes on DLR), historic Tower and London Bridge, Bank, Mile End and famous Oxford Street (only 25 minutes by underground train). The Thames Riverfront is also perfect for professionals on short work assignments in Canary Wharf, the City and Docklands area or academics/students visiting the University of East London (only 10 minutes walk). For golf enthusiasts, there is the Sundridge Park Golf Club in Kent, which is 9.4 km away.

It is also ideal for families with children with the adjacent Royal Victoria Gardens just a breath away (2 minutes walk from the apartment). This green park comprises children's play area, tennis courts, Bowling Green, paddling pool, hard floodlit areas and ample space for leisure activities, such as a range of sports, including football, hockey and handball. There is also a running track in the games area. There are community events, including planned five-a-side football tournaments in the gardens. And there is a new park entrance and crossing over Albert Road. Further down the road (5 minutes walk from the apartment), the play area for toddlers and young children off Roebourne Way has a range of new play equipment. The nursery’s play space also offers larger space for children activities.

This stylish apartment takes its name from its gorgeous views of the famous Thames River, which you can enjoy day and night from the large windows in the living room and two of the bedrooms. You will also be near the Tower of London/Tower Bridge, St. Paul's Cathedral and the infamous Whitechapel neighbourhood where Jack the Ripper once roamed and the ‘cockney slang’ was created. Make the most of your stay at the Thames Riverfront, visit the Bermondsey antiques market on the opposite side of the river, a must-see in London, or enjoy a stroll along the Thames Tate Gallery banks. The Canning Town stop on the Tube's Jubilee Line is 10 minutes on DLR and will give you easy access to Tower Bridge, Tate Modern, Westminster Cathedral and the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace and fabulous shopping around Oxford and Bond Street, as well as all central London sites.

The Thames Riverfront, a 110-square-meter architect-designed apartment, has lovely original features, such as exposed brick outer walls and large balcony doors, accentuated by a contemporary décor. The Thames Riverfront features a large and comfortable living/dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room and dining area enjoy gorgeous floor-to-ceiling, double-glazed windows with sweeping views of the Thames and London landmarks, including a view of the iconic Royal Woolwich Arsenal and the Woolwich Arsenal Pier. The master bedroom has a relaxing double size bed and en suite bathroom/shower, while the second and third bedrooms also contain double size beds. Another full size bathroom/bathtub is located nearby in the welcoming hallway.

Bedrooms: 3 BEDROOMS; SLEEPS UP TO 6 PEOPLE

Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with a combo wooden/leather double size bed with two bedside tables, floor-to-ceiling wardrobes with mirror doors and en suite bathroom/shower. It faces the river with spectacular views of the Royal Woolwich Arsenal and Woolwich Arsenal Pier, and the landscaped communal gardens. The window is double glazed with black-out blind, but even when it is open the only noise is from the sound of water from The Thames lapping at the promenade.

Bedroom 2: Large double bedroom with a double size divan bed, two bedside tables, large corner wardrobe with mirror doors, study desk and double glazed window with black-out blind. This bedroom also enjoys the same river views as bedroom 1.

Bedroom 3: Large double bedroom with a double size antique, black/gold iron bed, two bedside cupboards, large wall-to-wall wardrobe with mirror doors and double glazed window with black-out blind. This bedroom looks out on the main entrance courtyard on the rear part of the building and enjoys the same quietness as bedrooms 1 and 2.

Wonderful tranquil location and Apartment

This was a large apartment with a wonderful view of the river that soothed you to sleep at night in a quiet neighborhood. Little stores and the tube and buses were very convenient also. Hosts were nice and communicative. Very pleased and would definitely return again.

Wonderful apartment with stunning views of the river thames

We stayed at this apartment Aug/Sept 2023. Our family really enjoyed our stay here, it was comfortable, clean, well equiped and had a nice park and airport nearby. It also had easy connections to the city center. The apartment was just like the pictures and the views were even more stunning in person. Our host was absolutly respectful and accomodating and responses were always quick. We would absolutly stay here again and recommend our friends and family here.

Absolutely fabulous!!!

We have just returned from our stay 31/12/17 to 03/01/2018 at this beautiful apartment and it proved to be everything we hoped for. Many thanks to Rosemary for organising our stay and parking permit for 3 days and also to Eleni who greeted us when we arrived and fully explained everything about the apartment which was spotless and had everything we needed to make our stay so enjoyable. The river view was stunning especially the sunrises and sunsets. The DLR is a short distance away and there is also a convenience store in this modern complex block. I would heartily recommend a stay to anyone and we hope to return one day.
