Relaxation at the Beach

The property is perfect for a large family. The pool provides an excellent addition to the beach and was thoroughly enjoyed by the kids!

Sundancer was perfect for us!

We had a great time - the Sundancer was the perfect place for us. We are already looking forward to the next time we can go to Gulf Shores! It's always a hard place to leave and head back north where the weather is much colder!

Get it all: location, pool, and beach

This property is in a great location, close to everything Gulf Shores has to offer. The beach is fabulous with super soft sand and right outside your door. Want to relax in the pool instead? Your own private pool is ready and waiting for you. I love the views of the pool and beach from the balconies.

1st time to Gulf Shores

This was our first time visiting Gulf Shores (we typically stay on the Florida side of the Gulf). It was a splendid vacation and area! I was worried about how busy/packed the beach would be but it was not at all! With the added bonus of the house/pool so close to the beach it was a win for everyone in our group (ages 1 yr - 49)! Property management and owners were absolutely amazing to work with!

Excellent owners and maintenance staff - highly recommend!

This is a great house for large families We were very pleased with the layout of the house everyone has their own bathroom which is very nice when you're entertaining 14 guest. The house could use some updating as far as some of the furniture. Also I know it's impossible to keep but a few more pots and pans would've been nice as well it wasn't a large variety. But it would not keep me from running this house again the owners were excellent to work with the maintenance staff was quick to respond to any repair or issue that we may have had. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful time. The location was great. My daughter had ice cream every day. We played volleyball and wiffle ball in the evenings with plenty of playing space. The house fit us well. We had 4 generations enjoying a week together. We did 3 nights of cooking in (burgers, hot dogs, brisket, and a shrimp boil). The management company did a wonderful job getting the house ready. It looked and smelled very clean. They even called us to see if we left a case of DVDs behind. I told her they were there when we arrived and we thought they went with the house. Thank you for allowing us to use your vacation rental and the opportunity to rent again. Family time is important to us and we are getting older and spreading out, so having a week together is wonderful.

Sundancer West

We had an amazing stay at Sundancer West! Location, location, location! It is right on the beach and across the street from a fabulous convenience store, restaurant, and ice cream parlor! This house is huge and would work well for multiple families to enjoy a trip to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked but everything was in disarray. My only complaint would be the cleanliness. It needs a deep cleaning. Ceiling fans looked as though the hadn’t been dusted in years. Some of the comforters on beds had stains and needed washing, as well as cushions on chairs and couches. One bathtub had a side that was completely coming off. We even found two cigarettes in the master closet.😟 It’s apparent that Sundancer West has hosted everything from families with kids to frat parties, but if you like a lived-in, comfy, beachy place to call home for a week, this is your place. Just remember to bring the Clorox wipes and your own pillow! Also, you will need to bring your own beach umbrellas etc. or rent. Ike’s Beach Service will deliver umbrellas and chairs to Sundancer West (they are amazingly nice and very efficient) but you have to set them up each day on your own. BTW, the owners are great with their communication and super nice! It is my suspicion that they aren’t aware of the condition of the property.

We loved the unit. Clean and loved the labeling in the kitchen and on the light switches. The ac unit worked amazingly well and kept the unit super cold. The two fridges worked great, we loved having one for food and one for drinks. Private pool was nice with plenty of seating and a short walk to the beach. Owner was wonderful to work with.

It was a perfect house for us. There was an issue with the pool but it was rectified pretty quickly and an alternative pool was provided. Good communication, but disappointing that we didn’t get to use the pool we paid for in the first 24 hours. Kitchen was poorly stocked, no scissors or other basic things. Absolutely no supplies from previous guests available so plan accordingly. Would be nice to provide things like coffee filters and trash bags.

This place was amazing! Perfect location as the beach was quieter in this section. Our family had a great time with a perfect amount of space. Host was great with quick responses and lots of good information about Gulf Shores. Highly recommend.

Great Thanksgiving at Sundancer!

We had such a great time with our kids and grandkids, the house, a side of a duplex with 5 bedrooms, was very spacious. Great to look out the windows and see dolphins or to just walk straight out to the beach, a very beautiful beach. All 11 of us are looking forward to next year, we plan to be back! [đŸ€— Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful experience for Thanksgiving at our Sundancer for your family trip to Gulf Shores! The pictures don't do Sundancer justice!

We visited with four couples and seven children and there was plenty of space for everyone. The pictures don't do this place justice. The rooms were great size, clean and well maintained. The living room, dining room and kitchen area was larger than we expected and fit all of us in there. The second refrigerator was the extra you never know you needed, but I will be looking for this every time. Having a semi-private pool was a great addition. The walk to the beach was easy to use and the outside shower saved a lot of time cleaning up sand. The families in the other half were very friendly and we all had a great time making new friends. We will be returning in the future for sure. This is the best place we have stayed in the Gulf Shores/ Orange Beach area. Thank you, Monte [😎😎😎 Thank you so much Monte! Wow! 5 bedrooms and 5.5 baths AND POOL!!!!

Absolutely perfect for a family gathering! We had 6 adults and 7 grandkids and had plenty of room. The half bath off the kitchen is very handy. The pool was a great size in really nice condition and the pool furniture seemed new. All of the appliances worked. The 2 full refrigerators were so nice to have. There was plenty of closet space and the bedrooms were roomy too. We have already reserved it again for next year!!!!

Great stay and great place. Loved fishing!

Stay in Sundancer West. Surf fished early before the crowds and then went to the lagoon in the afternoon. Grandsons had fun doing that! Our stay was good. Only complaint was that the house wasn't real clean when my daughter got there. Railing and cabinets were a bit grimy. She had cleaner and wiped down before we got there. You just might want to discuss this with your cleaning service. Gulf Shores is a great place.

Great trip

Sundancer was the bomb! Perfect for our family to spread out. Clean. Beachside pool was awesome too! We had such a great time--even though the weather was sketchy for part of it because of the hurricane coming into Louisiana. Info and emails from Bama Beach Houses was very helpful too. Overall a great stay. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time! The house is set up for everyone to have their own space. We had 14 in our group & fit great! Great spot on the beach & wonderful pool the kids wouldn’t get out of after the beach. We got lucky we had a great family next door too! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great place, great location, would come back

We had a great experience at Sundancer. We were two families with eight kids total. Everyone had nice sleeping accommodations. The location is great. There is a great market, take out sea food place, restaurant and ice cream store a one minute walk away. The only issue we had was a coffee make that didn't work. I sent a text and we had a new coffee maker 30 minutes later. Great property management!

My wife's family have traveled to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Alabama for decades. I became a tag along in the late 1990s, so a Gulf Shores guy by marriage. One thing led to another and we ended up a several large, family-friendly, large group friendly, places along the Gulf.

Location. Location. Location. Right on the beach, The Sundancer duplex is in a terrific location: right across the street from Waves Grocery, a restaurant, ice cream, and more! My wife's family have traveled to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Alabama for decades. I became a tag along in the late 1990s, so a Gulf Shores guy by marriage. One thing led to another and we ended up a several large, family-friendly, large group friendly, places along the Gulf.

Location. Location. Location. Right on the beach, The Sundancer duplex is in a terrific location: right across the street from Waves Grocery, a restaurant, ice cream, and more!
