Aloha Gäster, var vänlig notera att priset för denna härliga hem är beroende av antalet personer som bor och det finns ingen luftkonditionering. Ulu Niu är en sällsynt Sök: en strandtomt tre sovrum semester egendom till ett bra pris. Kärleksfullt för hand byggda av ägaren 20 år sedan, är detta gömställe i en lummig coconut grove som ger avskildhet och skugga från den tropiska solen. Ändå strax bortom de grönskande planteringar ligger en vit sandstrand på Waialea Bay: "perfekt sand, underbara vatten, intressanta former för att fotografera, en guldgruva av intressanta snäckor och koraller," skrev en gäst. Detta är en av de få naturliga sandstränder på Big Island. Simma, dyk, snorkla och sola på stranden precis framför huset-perfekt plats för både barn och vuxna.

Mogna planteringar, omsorgsfullt läge, plus två-nivå design skapar en oas av komfort för att njuta strand levande samtidigt fånga det bästa av de kustnära vindar. Vackert utformad med ekgolv, furupanel och koa hyllor, är Ulu Niu kärleksfullt dekorerade med konstverk av kända lokala konstnärer, alla med anknytning till ägarna. Båge fönster med persienner mellan glasskikten vittnar om genomtänkt design av detta tropiska hem, noggrant underhålls av de ursprungliga ägare / byggare.

Den andra våningen innehåller de viktigaste vardagsrum med helljus tak, rymlig öppen matsal och kök samt bekväma sittplatser för att läsa eller titta på tv. Strax utanför är täckta Lanai, som erbjuder uteservering med kyla vindar, havsutsikt och Hawaiis berömda solnedgångar. De två sovrum på denna nivå inkluderar en oceanview sovrum och ett badrum.

Absolutely loved the location of this property! The beach is right there, where we saw sea turtles a few times. The house itself is so cute and was very clean.

Big Island Paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this perfectly located paradise. Just steps from a gorgeous beach with fantastic snorkeling and amazing sunsets. We had a group of 7 with family and friends and there was plenty of room for everyone and the house made you truly feel the Hawaiian experience.

wonderful home

I've stayed in several homes on Waialea Bay and this is a great one -- clean and nicely appointed with everything you need. The lack of clutter is almost as soothing as the sound of the water lapping against the shore. It's a lovely house. And the location is unbeatable.

The location was convenient to shopping and restaurants but isolated enough that we were not surrounded by tourists. The house was clean and well appointed.

Beautiful beach house

Classic Hawaiian beach house literally right on the water. The property manager did a great job of communicating and checking in on us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The house has a ton of character and is located in a beautiful colony of houses on a hidden gem of a beach. This is worlds away from the cookie cutter golf course houses that you see too frequently here. The location generally is also excellent. It’s about a 5min drive from Hapuna beach which is one of the best beaches in the world…on par with Hanalei. And it’s only about 15-20 min to Waimea which has the best dining options on the big island.

Classic Hawaiian Home On The Best Beach

We've stayed in Puako and on Waialea Bay for several years now and all agreed this is one of our favorite rentals. The house oozes classic Hawaiian charm. Traditional, not too fancy, clean and comfortable. Very well stocked amenities-wise. We are a family of 7 and felt the house fit us quite nicely. Loved waking up to the sound of birds and surf each day. The view of the ocean through the trees and the sound of the crashing waves helps give a beachfront feel without the exposure of actually being completely beachfront. Being able to feel like you have some privacy from the public beach goers was desirable for us. The side gate leading to the sand path to the beach gets you there in 20 seconds, so it was the best of both worlds. Plenty of beach paraphernalia in an outdoor closet available to borrow, as well as a fantastic outdoor shower to clean up after time on the shore. Mary at 2Papayas was wonderful and attentive. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Waialea Beach is one of our favorites on the Big Island, and this house was the perfect location for our stay. Very clean, comfy beds, super easy beach access, far enough from the crowds but still close enough to shopping and dining, quiet and safe, beautiful sunsets, and great snorkeling. We would definitely stay here again.

The outdoor shower and all the beach supplies (boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkel gear) were fantastic. The house was well stocked and comfortable. And mary was super helpful with all of our questions. The only thing we missed in the description was that the third bedroom was below the main house and you needed to take the outdoor stairs to get there, so it was a bit tricky with our two kids.

Location!

The vibe of this place was amazing: homey and tropical. The proximity to the beach was just incredible. Hearing the ocean, having the trade winds blow through the open windows, and taking a 2 minute walk to get to the beach made it hard to want to leave to explore. I can see why the property is hard to book and why it has so many repeat guests :)
