The cabin was perfect and exactly what we were hoping for. There's quite a bit of privacy since there aren't other cabins right next to you like many other options we looked at. The kitchen was well stocked with some basic staples and equipment which helped for preparing meals. The owner was very polite and quick to respond with questions. Be comfortable with your driving capabilities as the cabin is up a steep winding road.

Nestled amongst the trees, the views were absolutely breathtaking. ​The cabin itself was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated with that perfect rustic-meets-modern charm, and had everything we could possibly need. The hot tub under the stars was the ideal way to end a day. It was the perfect blend of feeling remote and peaceful, yet still close enough to enjoy everything the nearby towns have to offer. ​But what truly elevated our stay was Josh. He was prompt, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure our trip was flawless. From detailed, easy-to-follow check-in instructions to local recommendations that were spot-on, his attention to detail was exceptional. It's clear he takes immense pride in providing a top-tier guest experience. ​If you are looking for a 5-star stay in the Smokies, a place where you can truly relax, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of nature without sacrificing comfort, look no further. Cozy, quiet cabin

Great getaway spot for a quiet vacation in nature. Loved being surrounded by trees. the view wasn't visible from the porch but was nice from the upstairs loft window. The cabin had everything we needed for our week stay. Bed was comfy, hot tub was nice, directions to the cabin were clear, communication with Josh was great.

Wonderful Stay for Wife's Birthday

We had a wonderful stay at Josh’s cabin for my wife’s birthday! Josh was super responsive when we had any questions and was quick to get someone out to clear a fallen tree on a Sunday. The cabin was clean and just as described. The views were beautiful! We cannot wait to come back in the future.

Great Experience

Everything was top notch at the Crimson Crest Cabin for our recent 3-day Great Smoky Mountains vacation. The cabin was immaculately clean, well appointed with wonderful pillows, bed linens and great towels. We didn’t cook during our stay, but if we had, there would have been plenty of dishes & utensils for our needs. It was more secluded than I had expected, which was a plus — it is at the top of an incline, but we didn’t find that to be a problem. Our second morning, we saw a young bear on the road as we were leaving to start our morning - but he wasn’t interested in us at all. We loved the cabin porch and spent two evenings having supper as we watched the sunset and each morning we loved listening to the sounds of the valley below. Our check-in was super easy and Josh provided everything we needed ahead of time. If you have a chance I would recommend booking this cabin.

Awesome Hot tub and Views!

My husband and I loved how secluded but close the cabin was to everything. The hot tub is practically brand new and the view was incredible. The cabin is clean and well equipped. The host was very fast at responding to any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

Top tier!

Wife and I planned a weekend getaway, and decided a cabin in the mountains was a good option. Found Josh’s Cabins and were taken in with the photos and the views. Booked, and we were on our way. Josh was extremely responsive when we had to cut our stay a day short, and made it super easy to adjust the schedule. Arrival was later than we expected, but seamless. The cabin was neat, clean, and just as expected. Bed was comfy, and we had no problem acclimating ourselves to the setting. Overall a great experience, and I would highly recommend Josh’s cabins. If his other properties were a good as this one, we will definitely be back!

Awesome!

This was our second time staying at the Crimson Crest cabin and it didn’t disappoint. The views are spectacular and after hiking during the day we relaxed in the hot tub. This cabin and it’s location are great! Josh is very responsive and we’ll probably come back in the future!

Comfy Cabin in the Mountains

Very nice experience with a Mountain View. Enjoy your evenings in the hot tub on the porch overlooking the mountainside and Wear Valley. The fire pit is perfect for roasting marshmallows and viewing the night sky. The valley offers quaint county stores, cozy coffee shops, and restaurants. Lots of opportunities to spend your time in the mountains. Josh was a great host. You will definitely enjoy your time here.

Nothing beats this for a secluded, peaceful getaway that feels like a home away from home.

This is a cabin, and a host, I will definitely be returning to and recommending to friends and family. The view from the front porch and hot tub was incredible, photos really don't do it justice. I spent hours just watching clouds roll over the mountain peaks of the national park, birdwatching, and listening to the cows down in the valley. It's also tucked just far enough away from the lights of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for some great stargazing, but you're still close enough to run into town for dinner, groceries, or some of the more touristy attractions. The cabin itself was clean, tidy, very comfortable and cozy, and had everything we needed to stay in and just enjoy the surroundings. A big plus for me was the privacy, you don't have any other cabins right up on top of you, no one right next door being loud in a hot tub in the middle of the night. Just peace and quiet. Definitely a great experience, loved it so much that I even extended my stay a few extra days.

Nothing less than perfect

From the breathtaking views, to the coziness of the cabin. This trip was truly a memorable one for the books. Josh was very quick and efficient at answering me and my husbands questions and overall an amazing host. The cabin was very clean, fully equipped and the beds were comfortable (coming from a very picky person haha). We will definitely be back and make sure to stay at one of Josh’s cabins!

Quick summer get away

We were very happy with the cabin. Very clean. The view from the front porch is beautiful! There were some issues with the water when we arrived and Josh took care of it right away. Would recommend and would book again.

Josh's Cabins began in 2019 with one cabin on Bluff Mountain in Sevierville, Tennessee. Today the number of cabins has grown to seven spread across the Great Smoky Mountain Region in Eastern Tennessee. The cabins are located in four separate regions, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Wears Valley & Townsend. You cannot go wrong by booking any of our cabins which are all partially or totally secluded and with mountain or forested views. All cabins are entered by smart lock and are available to rent year round.
