Avskilt hem med kabin-tema i en trädbevuxen miljö. Hemmet är i slutet av vägen, så det är väldigt tyst utan trafik. Fairfield båtramp bara 2 miles bort för att lansera din båt för fiske eller båtliv, nära badområdet. Home har gott om parkering för fordon och båtar. Det finns ett täckt däck med grill på baksidan av hemmet med utsikt över lägereldgropen och skogen. Om du gillar naturen finns det mycket att se och göra. Det finns en inbördeskrigsvägg att se, och vi har massor av fjärilar, fåglar och kolibrier. Om du letar efter en plats att jaga kan du se Corp Land från bakrutan. RV park med närbutik med bete bara 1 mil bort.

Absolute Blast

Great place to relax. The road to it is definitely tight if you bring a pontoon boat but manageable. The owners are amazingly good people. Any issue we had they were so quick to fix it. I recommend them 100%. Thanks Debbie and Jerry

Great back yard

Did not expect the back ride to be as nice as it was. Lots of fire wood, lots of room to sit around the fire pit and plenty of chair provided. Nicely lit. Lovely back covered deck. Great for grilling and out door dining

Wonderful Cabin and thoughtful owners!

My family and I stayed at the cabin and loved it! The hosts set up everything we needed for our babies and even our dog before we arrived! They went above and beyond for us, we will certainly be back!

My fishing buddies and I came in and jerry & his wife were really nice and told us about the area and we're just super polite and good folks. Highly recommend! Place was spacious & clean- fit all 9 of us!

Perfect and so clean!

We enjoyed our stay so much. The owners have put a lot of thought and care into the visitors experience. They supplied so many nice comforts! What I appreciated the most was how clean the cabin was! And very nice sheets on the beds! We hope to stay again this year.

Perfect Get Away Spot!!

The cabin was perfect! Just what we were looking for. Our family love the location, how peaceful it was. Jerry and Deb really go all out to make sure there guest are comfortable during your stay in there property. They provide a lot of little extra things so you feel more at home. We will be looking forward to booking with them again in the future.

Home away from home

We all really liked our trip. We had so much fun with the bon fire roasting marshmallows going to the lake swimming fishing just hanging out with friends and family. Deb and Jerry were the greatest host they had everything we needed and then some. We would love to come back again.

We rally had great time there..... away from traffic city life near to nature there is lot to do hiking fishing etc ....I love the fire pit area it was so good and last but not the least owners they were so good ..... I visited many places but never met such a nice owners really enjoyed spending time in there property.....Thank you surely will come again

This place is even better than it’s pictures. Well stocked too. They had everything you could think to need in this place. The only critique I have is there may be a leak in the back bathroom creating a bit of a mold smell in the bathroom and the bunk room next to it.

Lovely stay - off the grid

This was such a wonderful cabin. The area is secluded and the woods are beautiful. There’s a place to swim very close by with stunning views. The cabin was so lovely and cozy. The owners provide everything! The fire pit out back was a perfect place to spend the evenings looking at the stars! The owners were very hospitable. We called on them a few times and they were very helpful and told us some great spots to check out. There’s currently no WiFi and our cell phones didn’t get great reception, so plan accordingly. This is an amazing place! I thoroughly recommend it!

Great property and Amazing Hosts!

We had an amazing time at this property. It was just what we needed in terms of peace and quiet and quality family time. The cabin featured everything you could possibly need and more! It is located just a mile or two from a great section on Lake Truman, with a really nice boat launch. Jerry and Debi even told us about a little secret swimming spot that we visited several times. The backyard offered a cozy fireplace, with market lights and tiki torches, it was the perfect way to end our very busy days. They also had several games that we enjoyed playing as a family. However, by far, the highlight of this property are the hosts, Jerry and Debi! We as a family said many times that they were probably the nicest, most accommodating people we have ever met. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy and are all about making their guests happy. We would highly recommend this property and we will be back the next time we visit the Ozarks area. Thanks for making our stay so memorable Jerry and Debi!

Our Little Piece of Serenity

We really enjoyed our time at Cabin in the Woods. We were looking for a quiet place to ride out fireworks, which traumatize our rescue pup so badly. This space was exactly what I was hoping for. No pupper trauma, just peace and quiet. Knowing our hosts have big hearts for animals was a definite win for us. They helped make our pup feel welcomed, with special bowls and a mat, waiting when we arrived. The back deck is amazing, and the fans and lights are such wonderful additions. We drank our morning coffee out there one thunderstorm morning, and it was so nice. We enjoyed the quality grillware provided. The kitchen had so many more amenities than many we’ve stayed at. It was a nice touch to see storage bags and ware for leftovers, and travel home, as well as all the spices and condiments provided. That saved us a lot of packing space. The beds were very comfortable as well. Our hosts, Jerry and Debi, were always a phone call or message away if we had any questions, and they were quick to respond. Thank you again, for providing us our perfect 4th of July landing.

We bought our property in 2006 for a weekend get-a-way. We moved here from the KC area in 2007 because we love the woods and Mother Nature. Jerry loves to fish and I love to take the boat out to cruise, tube or ski, so being this close to the boat ramp was a definite plus. We have a total of 5 acres. We have been busy updating the home to a cabin theme and making outdoor improvements over the past few months. We are both retired and our home is on the property, so we will be available most of the time. While our home is close by, we respect your privacy. You will have complete privacy on the deck and fire-pit area in the back, only you and the woods.

Varför värden valde detta boende

I grew up in the KC area and I always loved coming to Lake of the Ozarks, and then Truman Lake when it was built. Over the years, Lake of the Ozarks has become too commercialized and busy for me. Truman Lake is now 40+ years old and is the largest lake in Missouri. It is a Corp of Engineers lake, so the Corp owns the shoreline. It is well know for it's fishing, but you can also enjoy boating with family and friends. But summer is not the only magical time here. Spring brings the beauty of a new awakening with budding dogwoods and red buds. What would spring be without Snagging season or Turkey hunting. Fall brings the changing colors of the trees, brisk air and a warm campfire for roasting hot dogs and making smores. Then there is Heritage Days held the third weekend in October. It is also a great time to visit one of the corn mazes near by. Deer season brings in many hunters who use the Cabin as a base camp. As we slip into winter, there is the beauty and calming effect of a fresh snowfall with the cedar trees covered in snow. December brings Kaysinger Christmas the first weekend and Warsaw Christmas at the Harbor the second weekend. Drake Harbor comes alive with all of the Christmas lights and animated decorations which you can drive thru nightly from Thanksgiving's to New Year's. It is truly a winter wonderland. These are just a few of the many attractions in our area.
