It’s our friend groups tradition to go every fall to a place up North in Michigan, of all the places we have been too in the past 7 years this has by far been the best and highly recommended.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay in your home. It was a beautiful experience. We enjoyed the water activities in the beach. The rooms are clean , we had a cozy ambiance, it feels like home. The view of the beach from the home is absolutely stunning!

The location is perfect, the owners are a delight to work with, the cleaning was not complete by check in and what was “completed” was not done well, the property is more run down than pictures reflect which makes it priced too high. Overall, it was a good week and we made great memories but will not stay again for that price.

Thank you for your feedback and for your kind words regarding our communication and location. While we are glad your family made great memories during your trip, we are truly disappointed and saddened to hear that the condition and cleanliness of the home fell short of your expectations. In all our time hosting, this is the very first time we have received feedback of this nature, and we take it seriously. We pride ourselves on providing a spotless and welcoming home on Torch, so hearing that the cleaning was incomplete and delayed at check-in is completely unacceptable to us. We have already addressed this directly with our housekeeping team to ensure it doesn’t  happen again. We are also performing a thorough inspection of the property to complete any needed refreshes, maintenance, and deep cleaning so the home reflects the premium experience we aim to deliver. We appreciate you bringing these points to our attention, as our guests’ satisfaction is our highest priority. We wish you and your family all the best in your future travels.

Fantastic stay! The property offers gorgeous lake views, a nice dock, and direct sandbar access. The shallow water right off the shore was perfect for the younger kids, and having kayaks and paddleboards provided was a great bonus. The house accommodated our family of 8 adults and 6 kids comfortably. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, and with 2 refrigerators we had plenty of space for food. We made great use of the deck, grill, and fire pit.Check-in was seamless. As expected, parking was a bit tight with multiple vehicles, but completely manageable. The host was prompt, attentive, and quick to answer questions.Even though unseasonably cool, windy weather limited our swim time, it was a wonderful family getaway!

Great location right on the sandbar. Sunsets were beautiful. Firepit was very nice to sit around after a day on the lake. House was nice and accommodated our group of 6 comfortably.
