Beläget i hjärtat av Historic Chester County, är det få platser i USA som erbjuder så många saker att se och göra. Några av de vackraste skapelserna av människan eller naturen finns i närheten (1 tim.). Stugan ligger på en 70 tunnland lantgård (cirka 1797) med fält och stigar, omgiven av över 2000 tunnland privat mark. Ändå finns det gourmetmat, tennis och historiska platser inom gång- eller cykelavstånd. I slutet av 1990-talet listades Chester County som ett av de tio bästa länen att leva på grund av dess skönhet, historiska betydelse och allmänhetens sofistikerade invånare. Hästvagnar och luftballonger är bara några av de vanliga sevärdheterna. The only complaint I could possibly have is that I had a hard time communicating with the host in the week prior to the reservation through the VRBO app. The stay was absolutely lovely. For the host: the oven door needs a little TLC.

This unique cottage on an historic, rural property was a gem. My birdwatching husband, our dog and I were delighted with the stay. Truly a beautiful area. I hope we can return to Chester Springs and I would stay at this location again happily!

This was a nice place in a great location. We were allowed to bring our 12 year old lab, which was wonderful. The property was everything we needed for a short trip to the area. There was a husky/cattle dog named Luna that came out to say hello and seemed to wander the property at times. She snarled a few times at our dog but didn’t seem aggressive so no big deal. We appreciate the easy communication with the host.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage. The historic and beautiful property was an added plus. Had everything we needed and was very conveniently located to our old neighborhood and friends we were visiting. We will definitely be back!

Neat stay in a historical place

I stayed on one of their properties while I ventured to various historical sites in the area. It was a peaceful beautiful place to stay with a neat history.

I would've given four stars but first of all I'd like to say that this property is in an absolutely beautiful location. The host, Chris lives on the property, and communication with him was good. When we arrived there, he told us there was one set of keys if we felt the need to use them. Only felt the need to lock doors at night but left the doors unlocked during the day. There was an issue with the upstairs air-conditioning unit, and water had leaked onto the floor. Chris was responsive immediately the next day, since we had arrived late in the afternoon/evening, and came over to check it out in the am and begin cleaning it up while we were off the property for the day for a wedding. Without going into a lot of detail, the issue did not resolve itself by the third night, and we needed to find another accommodation. Chris was again very responsive and immediately said we would be refunded the last two nights. I really felt bad that we had to leave, but the water soaking the carpet had created a mildew or mold smell that we were not able to sleep with. Chris assured us that the problem would be addressed after our departure, and I believe that he will do that!

Beautiful location!! Quiet, peaceful! Property was clean and very comfortable. A little deferred maintenance needed. Host very friendly and responsive. Overall very nice. Will definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed the quiet, cozy setting of the cottage & the convenience of being close to family in Phoenixville. Chris was a great host! We walked the grassy areas & along the quiet roads, respite from the busy main roads just a few miles away. It’s a quaint escape.
