Secluded, Cozy Cottage in the Shenandoah Valley

Escape to our comfortable and well appointed cottage in the mountains. This one bedroom one bath with additional loft is the perfect retreat. The spacious deck is ideal for sipping coffee in the morning, reading and napping in the afternoon and star gazing at night. The property sits on over 90 acres to explore and a hot tub to soak in after. There are beautiful hiking trails a few steps from the cottage and the famous Skyline Drive is just a 20 minute drive away. There are several beautiful wineries a few miles from the cottage. Enjoy the evenings by the fire pit (we have wood available for you). We also have a wood burning fire place for chilly nights and a gas grill for your convenience.
The cottage has free wifi (Starlink!) and a smart TV.
There are 2 towns close by for provisioning, shopping and meals out.
We have a generator that will automatically turn on and power the entire cottage in case there is a power outage.
Peace and quiet with all the comforts of home. Like us, you won’t want to leave.

Please be aware that we do have a security camera located on the upper deck that is pointed at the driveway and one at the entry door.

Peaceful, Serene, Perfect Stay!

Everything at this lovely place of peace and serenity was pure perfection. The owners are amazing and went over and beyond to make the stay exceptional. The hot tub was heaven, pure heaven! The cottage is fully stocked, modern, clean, and just the perfect space to decompress, unwind, and reset. Beautiful weekend get away

Lovely place to escape

Great location if you want to get away from the chaos of daily life. We hiked both on the property and in the surrounding area, relaxed in the hot tub, and enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings.

Wonderful Week Escape

Very happy with this rental. Road and property were easy to find and navigable with our non-4WD. Check in was a breeze and the owner friendly when we met him the last day. We lived in the hot tub and enjoyed not even having to leave the property to find hiking trails. Would stay again when we're next in the area even with the asian lady beetles! (The rating requires something about the winery but we didn't go there.)

Perfect Cottage

Place was very clean and comfortable. Hot tub was fantastic. Location was great, very peaceful/secluded but close enough to Shenandoah for hiking and there are nearby towns for dining. Host/check in both perfect. Would definitely stay again!

Relax in the woods

Wonderful location overlooking the valley. Very relaxing with hiking on the property as well parks nearby. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Looking forward to coming back.

Relaxing Cottage

Quiet, clean beautiful setting. Loved the view. It was centrally located to many attractions, caves, historical sites, antiquing and hiking. Everything we needed was available. Would love to visit again.
