Poorly furnished, lacked the basics
Property location is perfect, right in the heart of the town on a lovely street. However, we found the place very poorly equipped. We arrived for a 10-day stay and expected a starter pack of essentials (which was provided by other rentals during this 6 week holiday). There was no toilet paper, no kitchen roll, no dish towel, no dishwashing sponge or brush, no laundry pods, no spare rubbish bags, no cleaning products for the bathroom and kitchen. The property manager informed us she could return the next day so we went and got our own supplies. (She later texted to say she would be there in an hour but by then we had bought what we needed). The property furnishings were on the bare side. There was only one small bedside light in the bedroom (which kept falling over). There was no fan provided for the summer heat. Spare bedding was sitting on the bottom of cupboard right beside a very dirty vacuum cleaner. There was only one wine glass. One set of towels per person and no bathmat. We were provided 2 sets of keys but one was impossible to use due to the wonky lock. Overall, the place is in need of a refurb. Other places at similar prices that we stayed in during this trip were much better furnished and, as well as the essentials, provided thoughtful extras for guests.
