Cottage has maple floors, a kitchen with stove top, full size frig and freezer, microwave and all kitchen utensils and serving ware. Enjoy a stay in a cozy one bedroom, one bath cottage. Window A/C for those warm summer nights.

Lake Breeze Sweet for Two was a exceptional cottage/property to stay at. The cottage was very clean, organized and comfortable. Every amenity required was provided. The property is very well maintained and the hosts, Karen and Stew, are very polite and respectful. Dock and deck access provides beautiful sunrises and sunsets over Lake Cameron. 100% guaranteed complete enjoyment booking this gem.

We had the most relaxing getaway from busy city life at this charming, well-maintained little cottage. Tucked away among shady trees, it offered complete privacy and a breathtaking lake view right from the deck. And the best surprise—absolutely no mosquitoes!The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We can’t recommend this peaceful lakeside retreat highly enough!

This was our 2nd time staying at this cottage and it was once again an overall enjoyable experience! The location is great offering a beautiful lake to swim or kayak in; nearby attractions (the Lift Locks in Fenelon Falls) to view; a beautiful trail in Fenelon Falls to walk or bike; and a great selection of restaurants to eat in with great food and great patios. The cottage itself is very clean and cozy and just enough room for two people. It offers a beautiful view from the deck which is a walk out from the living room area. It also has a dock which provides an opportunity to sit at the lake, relax, listen to music, read or go for a swim in an exceptionally clean lake. The host Karen and Stew are really wonderful people who are always available to assist with anything, while also being very respectful of their guest privacy. We have already booked for next year! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a perfect cottage experience.

It was very sweet for too

We had a really lovely visit and other than not being able to open the front door completely and the noise of the main house air conditioner it was a relaxing and comfortable stay.

A cute little couples cottage that has been built with great attention to detail with all the right amenities and personal touches . It is on a great property with access to a nice lake. Karen and Ron are great hosts, gracious, and promptly answered all questions.

Perfect Getaway for Two!

My fiancĂ© and I had the most lovely long weekend stay at Karen and Stew’s property , it was the perfect retreat for two! The cottage had absolutely everything we needed and was impeccably clean - from the gas line BBQ, private dock & deck, fresh towels and linens, Karen has thought of everything. She even left some treats for us in the kitchen and brought us a fresh baked banana nut loaf in the morning which we devoured! Karen was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed as well as our own space - we will definitely be coming back for another getaway!

Great stay, gorgeous cottage & the perfect spot for two!

Loved our cottage stay at the sweet for two! From check-in to check-out the stay and cottage itself was awesome and it was seamless all around. Very spacious for two and has everything you need and more. The hosts were so kind and attentive. Karen brought over a delicious treat our last morning at the cottage, so lovely, generous and very yummy. :) We would love to come back and hope to in the near future. Great location as well and beautiful waters/mornings. Can't recommend enough.

Beautiful property in the Kawartha’s

Lovely, quaint cottage! Karen and Stew were so accommodating while we were there from offering a place to dock our boat to lending us their wheel chocks for our trailer. Karen surprised us with 3 mini loaves of zucchini bread; two for my husband and I, and one for his sister who came for a quick visit. So thoughtful!

Total relaxation

Enjoyed my relaxing two weeks at Sweet for Two. The cottage was perfect for me. It is small, but spent little time inside. Kitchen had everything I needed. Bed was comfortable, and it was nice not to have to bring towels and bedding. Enjoyed swimming off the dock, relaxing on the deck, and having a campfire at night. Location is perfect for exploring the area. Only 20 minutes to Balsam Lake Provincial Park to spend time on a beach. Although Karen and Stew’s house is right beside the cottage, it was not a problem, rarely saw them. Karen did bring me treats several times during my stay. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

Solo Fall Getaway

Lovely hosts, very attentive to my privacy and comfort. Karen was responsive throughout the entire process, great communication. The cottage I stayed in was spotless and comfortable, very cosy. I had a private deck surrounded big trees and greenery. I spent a lot of time down at the water reading on the dock and watching the loons. Swimming was great. If you are looking for absolute serenity, better to go during the week as this is a busy lake with jet skis, power boats and even a float plane. It's a big lake and the drone of all these motorized vehicles is carried right to your dock. The couple of weekdays I was there were quieter. Having said this, it is cottage country - all to be expected. It's true what others say about the accuracy of the listing. These are small cottages sitting back from the very large residency of the owners which is right on the waterfront. This is not a private cottage and you may have other guests nearby when you stay. I did not and it felt very private. Overall, a lovely few days. A great jumping off point if you want to explore the area, which has small towns and very pretty hikes. Great bird watching areas too. Disappointing

This property owner violated all service dog laws and caused my vacation to be cut short because of the treatment we received. I have attached documentation regarding our stay. On arrival the owner demanded to know what my service dog was for. My husband said that I have PTSD. Karen (the owner) came at me in a very combative way demanding in a loud voice that she needs to know what tasks my service dog does for me. Having read the service dog requirements on the VRBO website and know the Americas with Disabilities Act, I know Karen is not allowed to ask me this question which is a violation on my privacy. When I said this, she came back at me saying that PTSD is not a disability and that I don't require a service dog. I showed her my Dr's note, which is legally the only document I am required to show by Ontario legal standards, she said again "what tasks does he do for you" Again I informed her she was not allowed to ask me that. Karen kept telling me that my $25 000 service dog was just an emotional support dog and that I don't have access. She was very unpleasant to deal with. After a very heated argument she went into the main house to decide whether we were allowed to stay. At this point I even offered to receive a full refund and go home. Karen came out after about 20min of us just sitting in the van. She had in hand the VRBO service animal rules where it clearly states what questions she was allowed to ask me, to which I answered willingly. Is this a service animal: "Yes" Are you disabled? "Yes" but then again she asked "what tasks does this dog do for you" Again I stated that she is not allowed to ask me that. Samson, who is my service animal for PTSD, anxiety disorder, depressive mood disorder, has been trained for 2 years which is a total of $25 000. He is trained in behavior interruption, deep pressure therapy, nightmare interruption, dissociation interruption, finding exits, detecting rises in cortisol and many more. Karen eventually let us stay once again saying that Samson was only an emotional support animal and that she was only letting us stay because of her kind heartedness. We were booked to stay 3 nights but only stay 2 because the mental torment Karen caused I did not feel well enough or safe enough to stay the 3 nights. Karen also had 5 of her own dogs that barked non stop at Samson and myself. I feel violated and robbed of my anniversary celebration

We had a beautiful stay! The cottage is clean, comfortable and well situated to enjoy the lake view from your muskoka chairs on the waterfront deck. Karen and Stew are excellent hosts who have anticipated their guests' every need. We appreciated all the small touches such as coffee and snacks. The kitchen is well supplied and very functional. We were cozy and warm here during a beautiful fall weekend. And there's lots to do see and do in the surrounding area. We'll be returning.

We really loved our stay here. The place itself was small and cozy, which made it feel really intimate and comfortable. The couple hosting us were so kind and welcoming, but also gave us the perfect amount of privacy—we felt right at home. Karen was so sweet to offer us some warm and toasty raspberry pastries. The location itself couldn’t have been better. The town was just a quick drive away, and the lake was super close and a dock right off the property. We got to take full advantage of our kayaks to explore the lake and the nearby locks and Fenelon falls. It honestly made our trip so relaxing and enjoyable. We’d definitely come back again!

This was my second visit to the property - my first in Sweet for Two. Terrific in both units. I’ll be back next year if I can. Check-in was easy, & the cabin was great. I only missed seeing Stew’s Donzi on the lake!

Overall great experience! It’s a nice place to stay when you want to spend the day exploring the towns and beaches nearby and then come back for a quiet evening together. The AC is great. Even though the cottage is very close to the house, they give you a lot of privacy. Karen made us a cake which was delicious. There were some issues with the hot water and wifi— but they immediately called someone and got it fixed for us. They gave us a complementary gift card for the inconvenience. They are a sweet couple that want their guests to enjoy the Kawartha Lake experience. If you’re looking for a “glamping” experience with your partner— this is wonderful!!

Lake Breeze Sweet was perfect in every way! Karen and Stew couldn't have been more accommodating and delivered delicious homemade muffins on our first morning. The cabins' private dock was perfect for swimming and sunbathing. The bed was very comfy and the sleep was heavenly! The cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed and we enjoyed the BBQ.

Fabulous!

The cabin had everything we needed and was absolutely perfect for a couple. Our host, Karen came over with freshly baked treats
.awesome! We had a lovely waterfront view of Cameron Lake and we woke to the sounds of birds singing every morning. Our hosts made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed but did not intrude on our privacy. Overall, absolutely wonderful!

Perfect little cottage for 2!

The cottage was exactly as described and was equipped with everything you need for a few nights. Karen greeted us to show us around the property and was super kind and helpful throughout our stay. Even though we didn’t have perfect weather, we still managed to make the most of it and had a blast. I would definitely recommend this place and will hopefully be going back myself in the future. Thank you again Karen!

Great small cottage experience.

Great property, great location. Everything was exactly as advertised. Will definitely be returning. Host is very nice and although only living steps away from the cottage is very mindful and respectful of privacy. I will note, after reading some of the reviews here I was worried about cleanliness, however that was not an issue at all, everything was very clean and we saw no problems with this property

No privacy. It’s a backyard house.

First of all, the location is great for water activities. Talking about walking distance around - there is nothing around(just corn field). Own access to the water, what is the only advantage here. But the main problem is that the house is located on the back yard of the owners house, so no privacy at all. Loud because of the AC system of the main house, which is located right in front of you. So you can’t enjoy nature and silence at all. About privacy imagine: 2-3 meters from owner house, you see them, their dogs and all their guests who can arrive, they see you and noise from AC all the time. No sun on the back yard, where the house is located. House itself is not clean enough. bedding is not good at all (itching after first night, so we left earlier), I would say 3 out of 5 for cleanliness. To sum up, it’s a good option for 1 night, not more.

Disappointing

All the dishes, flatware, and pots I got out of the cupboard to use were filthy. They had NOT been washed with soap and it was disgusting. The side of the fridge and microwave had spills and dirt on them. What was the biggest disappointment for me was that I could not access the water. Because of bad knees I have to be able to walk into the water and I was assured by the owner that I could, however, it was large rocky boulders and impossible to do without falling...very dangerous on my own. Consequently I did not get into the water at all. The bbq grill was filthy and no one even bothered to sweep the deck of leaves and debris. What did I pay for?

We were fortunate to buy this property in 2005 and from there have built a log home, and completely updated two cottages, which are used by family and VRBO guests. The lakefront boasts 3 marine railways, and your own private dock.

Swimming or sitting on the dock with a beverage is a wonderful way to watch the birds, boats, and even the fish. Bring your rods, and see who catches the first one !
