Hello! So my family and I booked this place to be near my mom for the holidays. Letâs go Pros and Cons.
Pros: Its in historic Kenwood, which has a pretty progressive downtown area that still operates most shops and restaraunts. The shops are 5 minutes by car, maybe 20-30 mins by walking.
The house is spacious, and well furnished. The beds were super comfortable as well as the sofa. The kitchen came well stocked with plates, utensils, pots and pans.
The house is old, old (like 1930,40 ish) so it has a nice old house charm, and the neighborhood is extremely quiet.
CONS:
The house is ooollldddd, so if you donât like old houses this isnât for you, but like I said, you wouldnât know it was old unless you researched, itâs super maintained.
Really low water pressure in the shower and washing machine, but everything heats up just fine.
The back patio looks as if it hadnt been cleaned in a while, but once cleaned up itâd be an awesome place for a barbecue.
They did have a charcoal and gas grill, the gas grill hadnât been cleaned and there were Roaches in it.
The animals skin rugs all over the house were kinda gross.
