This is a wonderful centrally located property within 200 meters of the restaurants at the foot of the hill, but very quiet. It has a wonderful panoramic southern view. It is on the side of Grignan more protected from the Mistral wind. The house is well-equipped, with good A/C, excellent cooking facilities, and a wonderful kitchen in which people can sit at the center of the house. Direct access by car is difficult, as most places in Grignan, but a set of steps down to a road where parking is easy is right by the house. The house has a garden with olive trees on the other side of that road, but we did not use it. The washing machine / drier is tiny by American standards, but functional. There is a covered patio upstairs that we used like an office. We were a couple with two kids and had loads of space for several weeks. I think five or six people could stay in reasonable comfort. The town of course is magnificent. This was, overall, a fabulous stay. The property is serviced locally by a very friendly and efficient man who does not, however, speak English. Not his fault, of course, and he makes good use of his phone's translation app, but be aware. Check-in was a bit clunky. There is a huge glass panel in the upper floor, which freaked us out. Apparently it's quite a popular thing in France. Can't think why. Overall, a truly lovely house and stay. Heartily recommended.
