ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
* Non smoking/vaping cabin.
* No pets allowed.
* Not wheelchair accessible.
* The cabin is located on a steep, winding road on Sugar Mountain just off the main Parkway. There are 3 parking areas off the side of the road, parallel to the front of the cabin. Sugar Mountain Way is a looped road. This allows you to pull forward and drive around the loop to the main road if you do not want to back up your vehicle. We drive a Dodge Grand Caravan and have no issues with parking space.
* In-climate weather or COVID-19 may cause a guest to miss their stay in our cabin. We provide no refunds for this, however, VRBO.com has partnered with CSA Insurance Company to offer trip insurance. Guests are encouraged to call CSA for a trip insurance quote.
* This cabin is in the Great Smoky Mountains where a variety of wildlife lives. During your stay, it's possible you could see/hear wildlife like insects, squirrels, raccoons, turkeys, bears, etc.
* We pay for monthly pest prevention inside and outside of the cabin, which includes a certified K9 dog named Indie who is trained by the National Entomology Scent Detection Canine Association. All possible efforts have been taken by the owners prior to your arrival to make this cabin a safe and fun vacation rental.

Great cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very cozy and accommodated us perfectly. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the woods where we were able to see a small cub passing through. We will be back!

Clean cabin with great amenities!

The cabin was just a described on VRBO website. The owners emailed us twice during our stay to make sure we were happy and enjoying ourselves.

We absolutely loved the cabin. It was just as described, super clean, and in a great location. You can easily get to gatlinburg and pigeon forge within minutes. Would definitely stay here again!

Good Stay with Room for Improvement

The property is in a great location where you feel like you are in the middle of the mountains but you are only 5-10 minutes from all of the action. Game room is awesome and the 2 bedrooms- 2 bathrooms are perfect for a family of 4. The hot tub is great! However, the property is clearly an investment property where the owners never stay themselves. Bedding is mismatched and towels are stained and mismatched as well. There are no bath mats in the bathroom for the cold tile floor. The fireplace didn't work our first night, maintenance came at 10am the next morning however, we were only there for (2) nights so we lost 50% of our fire nights. Lastly, the tub in the lower bathroom filled with water while we were showering. A quick inspection clearly showed tons of hair and "grime" in the drain. This place could easily be a 5 star stay with some general maintenance and TLC.

Great couples cabin

My spouse and I stayed with another couple. Nice to each have a king bed and full bathroom. Game area was great, hot tub is always a plus, and the location was just a few minutes from pigeon forge and a few more to gatlinburg. Communication with the host was great. Only thing I wish we had was a bathmat. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Fall Getaway

This is our third trip to this cabin. We enjoy the quiet and peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin met our needs in every way. We will definitely be booking another trip.

Great spot to reconnect with friends

Sweet Retreat is a terrific cabin for connecting with old friends. And that’s exactly what we did this October. It’s very conveniently located right at the edge of the pass. Not hard to get up to, but far enough away that you don’t hear Pigeon Forge traffic noise. The parking is great and the cabin is super comfortable. Very clean. And private. The owners are easy to work with as well, which is always a bonus.

10 Year Anniversary Trip

Great Stay!

Best friend and I spent the weekend there to celebrate our 50th birthdays. The scenery was great, the location in relation to town and everything we wanted to do was great and there was plenty to do at the house itself; pool, ping pong, video games and checkers. The communication with the host was great as well. Very glad I was able to find this listing and it was well worth it. Thanks.

Amazing stay

My husband and I went for a few days for our anniversary and I will have to say it was amazing the cabin was great Super great location just enough away from town. Very quiet parking was not an issue. We had such an amazing time. The owners were also great. They touched base with us after our check-in. Make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be staying here again plenty of room as well for a family.

Perfect Stay/Great Location

We traveled to PF for the Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion. The location of the house was perfect, it was super close to the parkway but far enough away that you still felt you were in the mountains. Very clean and exactly as described. Wonderful Communication with the owners!

This was an absolute delightful cabin to stay, i didnt want to leave. Everything was clean. I love that they had black towels specifically for makeup, lots of fun things to do inside during rainy days and nights, communication was spot on. There wasnt a long list of check out instructions. It was just perfect. Would 100% stay again or recommend to a friend. I will say though the road up to the cabin is in need of a little repair, pot holes were an issue, we have a large vehicle so we did not get stuck. However the last day and a half a tiny sedan did not make it up the bigger climb and stayed parked at the bottom. This is not a reflection on the hosts, but just a warning for those smaller vehicles

Nasty shower , no water pressure at sink in lower bath, upstairs sink clogged, nasty windows, slanted or unlevel floors, hard to close doors, terrible driveway, fireplace mantle with tv on it is about to collapse, furniture is worn out, beds actually weren’t to bad the cabin needs a thorough cleaning and some updates
