Edgewater Beach Golf and Beach Resort. If you’re looking for a resort condo rental in Panama City Beach, you’ve come to the right place. It’s got everything! And the Windward Building is located at the quiet end of the resort!

This place has it all for everybody. Tee times for Dad, massages for Mom, tennis lessons for the teenagers (when they’re not cruising up and down the strip) and a kid’s club! Guests/Renters will now have access to the club facilities (gym, tennis, basketball, pickle ball, shuffleboard, etc.) free of charge and will be given admittance with their wristband.

It is a beautiful 1st floor unit!

The LIVING ROOM offers plenty of seating, including a queen sofa that's perfect for two to sleep comfortably. There's also a flat-screen TV with cable, so when you're not soaking up the sun at the beach, lounging by the pool, hitting the golf course, or relaxing in the spa, you can enjoy a variety of channels. If you'd prefer, you can always open your laptop and browse the web with the high-speed internet available. But honestly, if you're spending all your time indoors instead of on those stunning sugar-white sand beaches, you're truly missing out. They’re some of the best in Florida, and the water is what gives the Emerald Coast its name.

The MASTER BEDROOM has a queen bed. Of course, there’s a TV so that you can relax while the kid’s are napping. There’s plenty of space to store your beachwear. You even have high speed internet access.

The MASTER BATHROOM has a beautiful granite sink with shower. And there’s a second bath as well.

The full KITCHEN area’s big enough to fix a meal but it doesn’t eat up all the space. You’ll love all the upgrades.

If you want to eat in and spend some family time there’s a roomy table.

The Washer/Dryer is easy to get to in the unit so you can keep everybody in clean clothes.

With this bedroom and the pull-out sleeper sofa you’ll comfortably sleep 4.

Very pleased

My husband, myself and 3 year old were very happy with our stay. Condo had everything we needed, was clean, it even had beach chairs and boogie board in closet. We loved that the beach wasn’t crowded in front of our hotel and this room is on the quieter side of Edgewater. We had easy access to the larger part of the resort which was full of amenities. We would stay here again and recommend. Check in process was easy and our room was ready early. The property security is a plus as well.

Great Location

Only one negative about this property. When the sun goes down, the living room area is very dark. Another lamp or two would make all the difference in the world. Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic unit, location is great, very clean!

No complaints as far as location, access to beach, pool and amenities. The only that is less than desirable is the location of bedroom due to road noise and stairwell noise throughout the night. Can't do much about that. Otherwise wonderful experience!

Awesome place!!!

We enjoyed staying here so much we would love to stay here again next time! Everything was beautiful and clean. The whole room was updated and enjoyable! it was so nice to stay on the farther end away from all the traffic and we never had to search for a parking spot or wait for the elevator. The beach is literally a few steps from the room. We loved it soooo much! The only requests we have is to add a full length mirror to either the bedroom or hallway. Thanks for an awesome vacation!!!!!

Super close to the beach!

My stay overall I’d give it a 7/10. The location was and how close we were to the beach was awesome my kids and husband definitely enjoyed themselves !! Only thing I did not like about my stay was that when other people were I guess checking out getting ready to leave noise in the hallways was very loud around 5/6 am also the room is near the trash shoot so when people would dump their trash I’d be very loud. Would book again? More than likely!

Steps to the Beach

This place was amazing and as advertised! It is literally steps to the beach. I had one minor maintenance issue that was taken care of shortly after I notified the rental company. Please note that you do have to go by the rental office to pick up your parking pass first even though the arrival email communication says you can go straight to the property; it does say later in the email that you have to go pick up the parking pass so it’s just a bit contradictory.

Awesome!

We had a great vacation. The beach and weather was beautiful. Communication with everyone was mostly on point. The things that weren’t on my favorite list is where the master bedroom is located and that the mattress has a huge dip in the middle. We thought there were beach services but apparently that was a misconception/oversight on our part. We were told we would have gym access;however, when we went they still wanted to charge a fee. All in all, we had a gray file and it’s in a great location, the private beach was the best!

Guaranteed worst nights sleep..

I’ve been coming to Edgewater every year for my entire life and almost always in different rooms, but never needing to leave a negative review until now. I have NEVER slept in a bed as terrible as the bed in the master bedroom (I’m serious). There’s a huge dip in the middle, it’s the loudest noise if you even breathe while laying on it, the terrible mattress isn’t even on a box spring but instead on top of another thin, worn mattress and broken slats. If you’re coming here hoping to get a little freaky in the sheets, ain’t happening. After the very little sleep we had each night, we woke up with headaches and backaches every single morning and we are in our early 30s if that tells you anything. Oh, and the pillows do not help the quality of sleep either. The pull out bed isn’t much better. If you sleep here in these beds, you will be absolutely miserable. Aside from the sleep situation, a few minor issues is that the balcony door is nearly impossible to open/close and the front door is pretty loud. Overall, decently clean enough to allow my 1 year old to crawl around.

Decent rental

When we got there the property managers had forgotten to leave the parking passes and we had to get back out in that terrible traffic to get them. On top of that they gave us the wrong address which made us stuck in a car for an extra 45 minutes. The room was in a great location next to elevators and stairs, but it is far away from all the big amenities of the resort. If you have kids you would have to walk about 100 yards to the big pool, splash yard, or lazy river. Also, the balcony had these black slimy spots of some unknown substance that wasn't cleaned before we arrived. Bed was comfortable, but kitchen and bath tubs weren't. Coffee maker had old coffee still in it and we saw several bugs in the bathrooms. There is no vacuum cleaner so it was hard to keep sand off the floors. They had bought a "new" broom. Not helpful! Overall, I won't be staying in that room again.

Horrible property management company

Best Beach Getaway is an unprofessional management company. We were not able to get a copy of our signed lease agreement, had to drive around to pick up a parking pass, and had to message them several times to get a response to our questions. We even had issues figuring out how to pay them our remaining balance. But the worst part was when we got there. We received rude phone calls about using our patio furniture on the patio 2 days before the tropical storm. We arrived on Saturday. We used our patio furniture on Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday afternoon we received a ridiculously rude phone call telling us we were not allowed to use our patio furniture on the patio. All they needed to do was text us and request we bring it in prior to the storm and we gladly would have done so. We received a rude call about our door “standing wide open and letting out the air conditioning “ when actually our door was closed but not latched properly. If we did not pull the door shut hard, then it didn’t latch. Absolutely no air conditioning leaked out, however this was a safety issue for us. They even took pictures outside our door and texted them to us. It was very odd and we felt like we were being watched like little children. We received texts about maintenance people coming on Tuesday. They did not show up. Them we received texts that they had messaged the wrong unit. Then maintenance people just showed up in our condo on Thursday while we were sitting on our balcony and LET themselves IN our condo. They knocked on our sliding glass door at us from INSIDE our condo. It was very startling. The next day they came back again. We had no notice, no phone call, no text. This management company had ZERO customer service. We were bothered by either rude phone calls, rude texts, or people in our condo all but 2 out of 7 days that we were there. During the afternoon we tried to take a nap and get a break from the hot sun and we were interrupted by texts, calls, and actual people in our condo. I highly recommend choosing a DIFFERENT condo, mainly due to Best Beach Getaways very poor customer service. As far as the condo…. Needs a new skillet, a working cork screw, and a deep cleaning. Location and decor are nice. We traveled with friends who rented a condo at Edgewater through an owner. They had a wonderful time. The owners provided excellent service and were respectful of their privacy. Do not rent through Best Beach Getaway.

Beautiful condo with easy beach access!

Edgewater is a great condo we have stayed at different rooms in other condo buildings and have also stayed in the villas. This was my favorite room we have stayed in by far. The easiest walk to the beach if you have young children.

2nd time staying here

This was our second time staying in this condo. First time was in 2023. Great location convenient to everything in Panama City! Really like the Edgewater resort. The kids loved going to the big pool and splash pad which was a quick walk through the buildings or a little walk down the beach. The Winward area was way less crowded on the beach and at the pool. Condo was nice and clean and had very quick beach access.

Relaxing and enjoyable.

Everything was excellent except one thing. We had difficulty getting our parking pass. We arrived late and was given an address to go pick up the pass, but the address given was locked up tight and had no pass. We called and left messages, but no one returned our calls. We were able to get visitors' parking passes from the other office.

Good but worn

Good stuff: Easy check in process and was granted condo access earlier than published. View and location were awesome. Resort is nice and like staying there. This was our 3rd experience at this resort. Lots of good restaurants near by. Condo stocked with most things you would need for an easy experience and water pressure for showers was great. Just don’t shower when the washer is running. The remodeled bath is nice. Needs improvement: Brought a Nespresso and there was a huge puddle of old coffee under the condos coffee pot. Some utensils, cooking sheets and glasses were not clean. The living room furniture is worn and not comfortable for sitting. The pull out bed was extremely worn, noisy and difficult to sleep on due to bars across the platform. The older bath sink would hardly drain and the toilet seat is barely fastened so you had to be careful when sitting down.Sliding door is difficult to open/close onto the balcony.

Beach vacay

The condo was very clean and comfortable. It was a convenient location for my needs. I would stay again. My only complaint is it was smelly on the beach like dead fish and you can only enter property at the main gate. The directions I had took me to another entrance but only owners can enter there with a special pin.

Great condo

The management company was awesome. The communicated with us start to finish and got back to us quickly. 10 stars for them. Condo was very nice, clean , lots of towels, get started supplies. 👍
