Villa Diamantis är en underbar villa med tre våningar, totalt 300 kvm. och kan bekvämt rymma upp till 12 gäster i sina sex sovrum och det är idealiskt för både stora familjer eller grupp vänner! Villa Diamantis ligger nära den livliga staden Rethymno och bara 1 km från den närmaste stranden och har fantastisk utsikt över det kretensiska havet och det omgivande området. Dessutom, på 1 km hittar du en supermarknad, traditionella tavernor och kaféer.

Villa Diamantis stora terrass har en fantastisk 40 m2 privat pool (1,45-1,55 m djup) med ett speciellt barnfack (57-70 cm djup), utrustat med solstolar och parasoller, vilket ger dig gott om möjlighet att sola, varva ner och njut av den friska sommarbrisen och den återupplivande landsluften. Utomhusområdena är kärleksfullt utformade med blommor och gräsmattor, vilket skapar en lugnande miljö och ger också en uteservering bredvid grillfaciliteterna. Dessutom finns en vacker skuggad soffa bredvid poolen.

Från poolområdet har gästerna direkt tillgång till villas bottenvåning, där du kan hitta en matplats och sittplats med TV, fullt utrustat kök samt träningsutrustning, inklusive en statisk cykel och ett löpband. Slutligen finns också en toalett på denna våning. Alla rum är ljusa och luftiga hela dagen och hela Villa är smakfullt inredda och utrustade med alla moderna bekvämligheter, vilket ger allt du behöver under din semester!

Vissa trappor upp, hittar du er i det rymliga, öppna vardagsrummet som bildar två platser, varav en har öppen spis samt en elegant matplats. Dubbla dörrar i glas från båda sittplatserna erbjuder tillgång till den stora verandan, som är utrustad med utemöbler och erbjuder också fri himmel och havsutsikt! Koppla av med dina nära och kära, titta på din favoritfilm på DVD, spela ett videospel på PS3-konsolen, prova några brädspel eller läs en bok på verandan och få ut det mesta av din vistelse! Dessutom finns tre av sovrummen (varav två har dubbelsängar och ett med två enkelsängar) och ett familjebadrum med badkar på första våningen. Dessutom kan enkelsängarna också ställas in som en king size-dubbelsäng.

Andra våningen
På andra våningen i Villa Diamantis finns de återstående tre sovrummen (varav två har två enkelsängar vardera och ett med en dubbelsäng och ett badrum med badkar). På den här nivån finns också ett litet pentry och ett annat familjebadrum med duschkabin. Pentryet öppnar till en stor veranda med fantastisk havsutsikt!

Fantastic house with a beautiful view.

We loved our week at Villa Diamantis! Everything was perfect. Lovely house, view, garden and pool!! The Only thing we didn't like was all the neighbour dogs. They were lound and agressive. But everything else was perfect!!! We would love to come back again !!!! Best regards Zaars family

Amazing Villa

Villa Diamantis was 100% Like the Fotos on the Internet. We we're welcomed by the owner with Selfmade cake, goat-cheese, Rhaki, sweets for the children an beverages. I have never encountered this Level of hospitality before. The owner asked Several times If everything ist fine and If he can Help us to make our stay even better. If WE will visit Crete again WE will definitely come back. Also the Agency from Think Villas was a great Help. Thanks a Lot & See you soon. Ludger

Diamantis Villa

We were nine adults from 45 to 76, we had such a wonderful relaxing stay at Diamantis Villa. We purposely only ate out twice in the evenigs as we wanted to enjoy the villa. The outside cooking area is great. We basically spent all of our time around the pool, on the verandah looking out over the stunning views or chatting and making food in the kitchen. A very comfortable villa. The owner who met bought fresh made cake, fresh fruit and Raki to welcome us. I would highly recommend the villa as a wonderful holiday destination. Enjoy.

Een prachtig verblijf, gastvrije verhuurders en mooie omgeving

We werden gastvrij ontvangen door de verhuurders met een glaasje Raki en lekkers. Uitgebreid rondgeleid en halverwege ons verblijf werd het hele huis weer schoongemaakt en werden de bedden en handdoeken verschoond. De villa ligt erg mooi en de weg daar naar toe was ook prima uitgeschreven.

Fantastic Villa

Beautiful Villa with pool, we had an amazing family holiday in Crete. The owners of the villa were very kind and left us fresh fruit, homemade cake, eggs and raki and checked in on us to make sure we were ok. The villa itself had everything you could need and more, all in the beautiful Crete hillside, there was a lovely view of the countryside, seaview and surrounding mountains. Would recommend A*

Super großes Haus mit schönem Pool. Die Betreuung durch den Vermieter war sehr angenehm. Die Lage ist perfekt um mal etwas lauter zu sein, ohne jemanden zu stören. Trotzdem ist man schnell in der Stadt.

Fantastic Stay with the most generous hosts

We stayed as a multi family group with 3 teenage horrors. Our holiday couldnt have been more amazing. Absolutely superb property with amazing amount of space for us to enjoy our own space or come together as a group or adults and teenagers. Based in the mountains but just a short walk or drive to the beach, the views were amazing. Mr Diamantis was lovely and when we arrived kindly gave us Rakki and local delicacies to enjoy and later in the week gave us some lovely pastries baked by his mother. Such fantastic Greek hospitality and would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic villa for a family holiday!

We had a fantastic time staying in the wonderful Diamantis Villa. Everything from the helpfulness of the team pre-stay with organising car hire and transfers for our group and setting up child friendly rooms, through to the owner greeting us with a welcome cake and a tour of the villa (including the gardens with fresh vegetables we could pick from and the numerous fruit trees surrounding the villa), meant this holiday felt like a 5 star experience. The villa itself is well proportioned, has all the things you would expect from the kitchen and living spaces, and it’s numerous balconies offered breakfast, lunch or dinner with breathtaking views. The pool area is spacious and so relaxing, and the small baby pool perfect for our little ones, which is often something you don’t get. The recommendations for food and drink locally and in Rethymo only 20 minutes drive away (and well recommended to visit) were fantastic, and one of the highlights of our week was booking chef Kostas to come and cook a Cretan BBQ for us - a fantastic experience! All in all would highly recommend to anyone thinking about staying in Crete.

Perfecte woning en locatie

Prachtige woning op een prachtige plek met schitterend uitzicht op de zee. Er is erg veel ruimte met diverse zitjes. Prima zwembad en mooie barbeque. Manager is zeer hulpverlenend! Na vier dagen werd de hele woning schoongemaakt. Topservice!

Genoten van de luxe villa.

Nadat we het huis 's avonds laat met moeite hadden gevonden werden we met lekkernijen zeer hartelijk onthaald door de huiseigenaar, die in de loop van de week nog meer home-made lekkers bracht. Voor ons gezelschap (9 volwassenen en twee kinderen) was het een perfect huis met veel ruimte, een mooi zwembad en veel zitjes, ook om te eten. Met het mooie uitzicht en de rust was het elke dag vakantie. Vanuit de locatie konden op geringe afstand leuke uitstapjes worden gedaan.

Sehr gastfreundlicher Empfang

Die Gastgeber sind total liebenswert und wir wurden herzlich empfangen mit leckeren Köstlichkeiten aus eigener Herstellung! Von Käse bis Kuchen über Raki… Wirklich toll! Wie auch die Vermittlerin Valia Kokkinou, die immer schnell und freundlich auf unsere Fragen reagiert hat und auch bei der Umbuchung wegen Flugausfall gab es kein Problem. Kleine Kritik: Leider gab es ein Problem mit dem Warmwasser (da etwas kaputt war) und wir hatten nur zwei Tage bei denen es ging. Etwas sauberer hätte es bei der Küche und den Bädern auch sein dürfen und der Kühlschrank sollte ausgetauscht werden, da er nicht mehr kühlt. Hier sind wir auf den Zweiten im UG ausgewichen. Aber alles in allem ein schönes großes Haus mit viel Platz und tollem Aussenbereich!! Jeder findet hier einen guten Rückzugsort, wenn man mal nicht aufeinander hängen möchte. Als Tipp: Man braucht ein Auto, denn der Weg zum Strand wäre etwas zu mühsam den Berg runter und wieder hoch. Aber um die Insel zu erkunden, hat man ja ohnehin eins. Danke nochmal für die Gastfreundschaft!! Und was auch toll ist: die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit, super erreichbar und auch für den Aussenbereich war von Grill (mit Kohle und Anzünder) bis Tischtennisplatte alles da! Ganz lieben Dank nochmal.

Nice and clean appartment and a very good host. We felt more than welkom at our stay. The only commentary is that some of the toilets did not function properly. There were flush problems so to say. Further on, only positive experiences.

Basic furnished villa with amazing views and nice pool area.

This property is located a 10 minute drive from the sea, overlooking it and the vally. The villa is basic equipped, cooking pans should be replaced. Beds are small but of great quality. Rooms are basic. Barhrooms are dated and small. Poolside is really nice, garden is wonderful. The owner is very, very nice and welcoming. He brings fresh foods, homemade drinks, fruits etc! Overall great stay!

The full Crete experience

My family and I have rented many houses over the years and this was the first time we were welcomed like family with homemade gifts of wine, olive oil, and many more treats as well as a garden full of fruit and vegetables that we enjoyed on a daily basis. The location is central to the popular destinations on Crete and there were many restaurants nearby that provided takeout options. Our favorite was the White Lady Tavern. We ordered dinner from there three times in one week! The property managers answered all of our questions in a timely manner and gave great recommendations for rental cars, a boat tour, beaches and even a service that delivers fresh groceries. The house itself is clean and spacious, and the air conditioners are silent so we slept very well even during the hottest week of the year. All around a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful setting - we hope to return soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for all of the gifts and kindness!

Most memorable vacation

We arrived from Heraklion to Adele and followed a narrow road up wondering if it was the right place....one home left at the top. Not being sure if it was Villa DIAMANTIS, we rang the doorbell and out came Diamantis with the most welcoming smile assuring us this was indeed Villa DIAMANTIS and his name was Diamantis. We followed him in and were greeted with Raki shots, cheese, Cretan rusks and homemade cake on the balcony overlooking a spectacular scene of the orchards & sea. This was the beginning of our Cretan Adventure.... Diamantis and his generous and warm family provided us with their home grown produce of eggs, olive oil and much more...he would pass everyday to make sure we had all we needed. We had come to Crete for our son's wedding. Diamantis and his family arranged a delicious and amazing BBQ one night for our family & friends....with Greek dancing and plenty of Raki...and "kefi". Thank-you Diamantis & family for making our family occasion even more magical and memorable!

Absolutely amazing

The villa is amazing the pictures don’t do it the justice it deserves. We stayed here as a family of 12 ages from 2-54. We arrived at the villa early hours of the morning where we was met by the owner who is the most kindest person. We was given a tour of the villa and fresh home made food,drink,fruit and chocolates as a welcome. Throughout our stay the owners where on the end of the phone whenever we needed them nothing was never to much trouble. Villa, bedding and clean towels during our stay also our last night we was given more home made food and wine from the owners. We needed a medical center when we was there and the owner sent a doctor to the villa but we had already left. I cannot thank the owners enough. I would highly recommend this villa. It is situated in the most beautiful place with best views the pool is perfect, play area for the little ones, bbq outside and shops and restaurants 10 minutes walk away.

Fantastic villa , great views of the sea and mountains great hosts. Great location.

The pictures do not do it justice it is an exceptional villa and in a great location . Local shops and bars are less than 5 mins in car , large super markets around 10 and main town 15 mins. Great welcome with Raki and cheese on arrival . Owners really take time to make sure all are ok and have all you need . Linen was changed every 3 days House cleaned also twice a week. Free raki and local fruit when we arrived with water in the fridge . Great welcome , could do no more . The villa is located on a hill top with far reaching views. The villa is three storey with the ground level at the same level as pool and Terrance . There is a small kitchen and toilet on this floor with a fridge which we used for water and beers etc . Good place to prepare drinks for the pool. You enter at first floor level where there is a large lounge , 3 bedrooms and toilet and a bathroom . We were two families of 5 so one family took this floor . The other the top floor. All rooms have air con and are doubles . The kitchen is on this level and is very well equipped, two coffee makers, sandwich toasters , toasters, fridge and every accessory needed. Best equipped villa we have ever stayed . On the top floor are theee more double bedrooms one ensuite and another bathroom and a huge terrace . The pool area is excellent with a separate paddling area for little ones . We were 10 adults and teenagers and there was plenary of space so you could get away from everyone if your needed. Never felt crowded or too small inside or out . Bedrooms have terraces and there is a large terrace with a table for ten on the first floor and a covered external area that seats 10 near the BBQ so you can eat outside in two locations . Sun beds , beach ftowels provided and plenty of seating all round the villa and terraced. The views are quite stunning .
