Beläget i historiska centrum Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Njut av Loft på Metropolitan Hotel. Ta i skönheten i en 100 år gammal byggnad som har totalrenoverats och restaurerats. Uppskatta den exponerade ursprungliga tegel i köket och vardagsrummet. Vackert inredda med Sky ljus och välutrustade, rymliga gourmet kök med svart granit kakel.

En uppdaterad badrum med skiffer och bubbelbad och inglasad dusch. Känns som en dag spa! Mysiga och varma med bergvärme från naturliga mineral Hot Springs. Unik & annorlunda med en retrokänsla i hela lägenheten.

Flytta från Texas på hösten 1985 med våra två unga söner var ute på vår komfortzon - lämnar de flesta av vår familj och två vuxna döttrar tillbaka i Texas. Men vi blev kär i Pagosa Springs och skönheten i bergen, och har alltid varit nöjda med vårt beslut. Vi köpte Metropolitan Hotel 1988 efter det renoverades. Det var kontor med undantag för en fyra sovrum loft. Efter våra pojkar växte upp vi flyttade till Denver och nyligen vi ombyggda loftet och nu använder det som en semester plats för familj och vänner och alla andra som vill besöka och njuta av några dagar i bergen. Loftet ligger downtown tvärs över gatan från den världsberömda Hot Springs och vår familj samt besökare njuta av de varma helande vatten efter en dag på sluttningarna. På tal om backarna är det bara en kort 20 minuters resa till Wolf Creek Ski Area. Det är ett talesätt runt staden att detta område är "bäst bevarade hemlighet" i Colorado. Wolf Creek har den mest pulver i Colorado! Det är en snowboardåkare paradis! Lämna gärna dina kommentarer i vår tidning i vår loft och du njuta av!

Great location

The Loft is in a historic building, and as expected has the character to match. It is located on the backside of all of the quaint little shops and restaurants. The river is just a short walk away. We really enjoyed our stay here. Oh, by the way the price was beyond reasonable for the size, which was more than adequate

Hidden Gem.

The loft is a quite a unique place. Nestled in the heart of down town pagosa, this spot is a gem. Four bedrooms, and 1 bath with another restroom just down the hall. It was close to both springs and shops and restaurants. I would recommend to anyone who wants close access to down town with out the spring prices.

Great place too stay

We enjoyed our stay at the lofts. Plenty of room for all eight of us and was very comfortable. Look forward to staying here again.

Great Little Gem

This was a heaven sent for me and my family. Especially since Expedia put me in a bad situation that could have ruined my vacation. Right in the heart of Pagosa. Walking distance from the Hot Springs and shops this is a gem of a place. Jacque

Fun Stay at Pagosa

What a fun quirky little apartment. It was perfect for our party of 7 to hang out and enjoy the town and the ski hill. Easy walk to delicious restaurants, luxurious hotsprings, and good shopping. Parking was adequate and we were able to get up to the ski hill in 30 minutes too. The only drawback was that the beds are all very old and saggy. We all left with stiff backs, but still happy customers.

Excellent Location

Great location for exploring Pagosa Springs. The property was large and spacious. They have a washer and dryer, along with an upgraded kitchen and bathroom with all accessories available. Plenty of natural light, and room to move around. Will definitely stay here next time. Would recommend the listing utilize professional photos, as the photos posted on the website do not do justice to how nice the property is. Thanks once again!

Perfect!

This was our family's 6th annual spring break trip to pagosa and the absolute best place we've stayed so far! It's very clean and modern. The fully stocked kitchen was impressive. We popped popcorn and watched movies on the huge flatscreen in the cozy living room after a long day on the mountain. The laundry room was a huge perk; next time I'll pack lighter. Comfy and spacious rooms and the bathroom...WOW! Also, the location is so private yet, walking distance to the area attractions. Loved it! Note: there is a flight of stairs at the only entrance, keep that in mind if you have trouble with stairs.

Need to let renter that it is not handicap ready. Having to climb stairs should be noted. It could of been cleaner. The top bedding in one of the rooms was stained or not clean.

Just What We Wanted And More

We like to ski, go to the hot springs, have a comfortable place to stay, and a good kitchen to fix our meals. This place has it all. Here you are right down town, walking distance to the hot springs and the rooms are first class, modern and comfortable. A very nice, modern and fully equipped kitchen, comfortable den with plenty of seating and a large flat screen TV. For us the 1.25 bath is no problem since we shower at the hot springs and there are "extra" restrooms just down the hall, which for all practical purposes are yours, since the place is upstairs and no one is ever there early in the morning when we get ready to go skiing or after 5:00 pm when everyone goes home. Remember this place is on the second story of an office building. Parking is convenient right at the back door behind the building. If you don't like "cookie cutter" places to stay, this place has some character (and I mean it in a good way). You can't beat it for the price. P.S. I am writing this as we are making reservations to stay here for our 2012 trip.

Felt like home, for reals

I’ve stayed many air bnb and vrbos in the past and you can usually tell that its a rental facility. This place however really felt like some one lived in it because everything needed was well thought out and placed. Plenty of coffee, plenty of cooking supplies, extra ingredients, modern bathroom with extra extra towels, toilet paper kleenex soap. The owner did not skimp out. Moreover, the beds, pillows, blankets were soooo good in quality. Finally a place with fluffy pillows that didn’t feel like pancakes. The bedding was a high thread count, according to me wife, which is why i felt like I was home and not using motel blankets like at other rentals. The appliances were so new i had to really inspect them closely to see if there was evidence of usage or if we were the first one using them. Okay, the location is unbeatable if you were in Pagosa Springs for the “city” aspect. Front door dumps you onto Main Street. The hippie springs are literally across the street. It took us 2-3 minutes from bedroom to springs. Surrounded by restaurants and shops. The parks were also across the street. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Pagosa when we come back. Lastly, the owner was not overbearing. Many air bnb and vrbo owners bombard you with emails and texts before and during your stay. This owner had the invisible touch where one short email with no contact easy check in and check out, no texts or emails to subconsciously remind you that you’re a guest. Loved it Thank you!

The Loft Continues to be the Best Deal --Period!

Once we discovered the Loft in 2010 we have not considered staying any place else. This trip ski trip makes our fifth stay and it was as good this time as it was the first; which is to say GREAT!! We love the location, especially after discovering Overlook Hot Springs Spa just 27 steps out the front door to the right. With four separate sleeping areas, a large living room and kitchen you are not crowded and you never get the "just another condo feel", but rather a cozy "at home" feeling. Having one bathroom is never a problem for us since we always have an after ski soak at the spa which provides shower facilities. The Kitchen is large and well equipped. This is a huge plus for us since we eat breakfast and dinner there and pack our lunches to take to the slopes. I almost forgot, it has a washer and dryer which helps if needed. It is upstairs, which is not a negative, just a fact. If I had to come up with anything negative to say it would be that sometimes you do get some light noise from the theater next door. It was Wolf Creek's 75th Anniversary on Sat. and for the 3 days we were there it was spring skiing. Mild wind and temp. in the mid 30's, which translated into getting hot. (We even opened the windows at the Loft during the evening until bedtime!) Even though the ski area was 50" below its normal snowfall for the year, all lifts and runs were open. Wolf Creek did a great job of keeping the blue slopes groomed so there were no visible obstacles to worry about. And of course NO LIFT LINES. We plan on being back next year.

Vacay getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very interesting place. I mean when you can get a massage a few doors down within the building you are staying, you feel a little spoiled. The building was unique and had some major character. Would book here again easily.

My 3 girlfriends and I shared this 4-bedroom apartment for 3 nights. We were amazed at how well the apartment was equipped -- the Owner was very thoughtful to provide all the utensils, dishes, soaps, towels, coffee, tea, and even different spices! She also clearly provided instructions for using the apartment. The location of the apartment is great -- within walking distance to many attractions including the beautiful River Walk. We loved this place and will come back again.

Fantastic Location and easy to access

We stayed for 3 nights and cooked many of our meals at this property. It's located within walking distance (short walk) to the hot springs and downtown area of Pagosa springs. There were 5 of us and everyone had their own bed.

Pagosa Lumber Company founder A.T. Sullenberger purchased the two-story brick building at this location in 1918 which was previously occupied by Archuleta Merchantile and built by J.M. Archuleta Jr. in the early 1900's. After a fire destroyed the structure in 1919, Sullenberger constructed the Metropolitan Hotel which featured modern rooms, hot baths for guests and a motion picture theatre.

One hundred years later, the Loft at the Metropolitan Hotel sits at the top of it all, welcoming guests to its historic history.
