Hagen Homestead, Quiet, serene farmhouse, close to everything!

Quiet Country setting, 2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom home. Charming modern farmhouse but still has that " a simpler day and time" feel. It's all about comfort here. From the warm cozy fireplace on cold nights, to the super soft Bamboo sheets and towels for your pleasure. Wonderful views of the pond from the dining room. Plush top rated hybrid mattress's. The private fenced in backyard has a fire pit, grill and tree swing just waiting to make memories. Feels like you are miles away from everything but you are only 4 miles from Miami University. Athlete's and families welcome! 5 miles to Hueston Woods state park. 11 miles to Brookville lake. There was even a wedding ceremony and reception held in the backyard of the property. It was fantastic! Check out the pictures of the happy newlyweds.

Fantastic home that felt like home. Less than 15 minutes to Miami campus, easy drive. House was well equipped and thoughtful little amenities to make your stay easy. Quiet countryside location with a beautiful yard and fire pit. Would definitely stay again!

We love staying at the Hagen Homestead! It's so comfortable, and such a beautiful property! We tried a few more Oxford restaurants this time - Bello Woodfired Pizza and Krishna were incredible! And Pickle and Pig never disappoints! Thank you for such a comfortable home away from home!

Peaceful stay!

We had a great experience at the Hagen Homestead. It is a great location, close to parks and stores and restaurants but removed enough that the property truly feels like an escape. Our dog loved the big backyard and watching the ducks and exploring the nearby creeks and trails. We would love to come back again soon.

Exceeds All Expectations

The most thoughtful rental we have ever stayed at! It is very clear that the property owners have thought through every single thing that a guest could possibly need in a rental. Everything was clean and had such a great homie farmhouse feel. The beautiful property is amazing and we cannot wait to come back.

5 Stars Cheat This Property!

This house and host deserve 10 stars! This house and host were GREAT! Great communication from the booking to checking out. The house was very clean and we loved the fireplace. The big fenced in yard was very nice to have for our fur-babies and they loved it. Great location if you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle. It was a nice gesture having little snacks throughout the house. Coffee was available as well. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils. We will definitely be back!

Thanksgiving Reunion

My husband, dog, and I drove from New York and met up with our two sons at the Hagen Homestead to celebrate Thanksgiving. Our boys attend school in Ohio and this was the perfect meeting place. The homestead was beautifully decorated for fall and had all the amenities of home. It had phone chargers, a Keurig coffee maker, dog bowls, and a full kitchen. We loved the fleece sheets and promptly ordered a set when we returned home. There was plenty of room for all of us. We look forward to returning in the future!

Lovely home away from home! Great location, clean and comfy!

We love staying at the Hagen Homestead! This is the perfect place to enjoy Oxford and neighboring towns, drop off the kiddos for college, or just enjoy a beautiful serene environment away from the city where you can see the stars at night and enjoy coffee in the beautiful outdoors (or fully stocked kitchen). It has everything we need with very comfortable beds, keurig coffee maker, plenty of tv options, and everything in between. Communication with the owners is fabulous, check in is so easy and the home is stocked with everything we need for our visit. Thank you again for another fabulous trip, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Great getaway

Home away from home!

Consider yourself fortunate if you’re able to stay at this property! We came to Oxford for our daughter’s graduation from Miami University. (Which if you’re looking you know is nearly impossible to find a place) We walked into this home and were greeted with fresh flowers and graduation cupcakes! The attention to detail is everything you’re looking for in a home away from home. This property is super clean with all the amenities. William and his wife were very easy to communicate with and get togethers are welcomed.The property is exactly as stated in the photos. You will be only an 8 minute drive through the country side to Miami’s campus. It is everything you want to decompress after a hectic day. Many thanks for allowing us to share this special weekend at your homestead

What a wonderful stay. Slipped down to Oxford for the Eclipse and as alumni a little visit to campus. The home and property completely charming to say the least. Eight minutes from campus but feels like hours away in a great way. Skip the hotels/motels and pease make this your choice.

Wonderful farm house stay !

My husband and I along with our dog had a fantastic stay ! Great location with a 7 minute drive to downtown Oxford. Charming house - spotless , comfortable beds and our dog loved the fully fenced in large backyard with view of small pond. Owner very nice and responsive. Will definitely come back !

Best home away from home

Our son attended Miami University. This is our favorite place to stay. We have stayed here multiple times. It is only 7 minutes from uptown Oxford. It sits on a beautiful property that is very private. It overlooks a peaceful lake. This property has everything you need to host a get together with family. The beds are super comfortable and the host always leaves special snacks and toiletries. Our son graduated in 12/2023 and the house was decorated beautifully for the holidays. It made our stay so cozy and special. I will miss Oxford and Miami University since our son has now graduated. But if we are ever back, we will be staying here! You will not be disappointed if you book this fantastic property!

Wonderfully decorated and lovely property!

This house and property is as charming in person as it looks in the pictures! Wonderfully decorated for Christmas with many thoughtful extras. Everything was perfect with our stay, and the hosts were great communicating with us if we had any questions. We enjoyed our stay and hope we will be able to book this house again for a future visit!
