Detta vackra kvarn, perfekt restaurerat (tidigare charmigt hotell) ligger vid en vacker flod, i en vacker by Albret, i Gascony) 3 km från Gers och Landes.
Den har ett mycket stort kök, utrustat med en vacker Lacanche matlagningspiano, ett mycket stort vardagsrum med en stor öppen spis och ett biljardbord.
På övervåningen finns 6 sovrum med eget badrum och egen toalett.
En privat ö är värd för en pool omgiven av en stor bambushäck.
Som avstängd från världen är denna ö en fristad för fred och lugn.

Amazing holiday

We returned this year after visiting twice more than 20 years ago. It felt like coming home. Marie-Claude is the loveliest host you could wish for. The old Mill is just a fantastic building. It has everything you could wish for. We didn't want to leave and hope that we can return again soon.

Unique and fantastic place to stay

We had a really great week at Poudenas. We were two families with young children and two grandparents and we all had a fantastic time. The pool is private and spacious and the mill itself is perfectly equipped to cater for large numbers. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and there is lots of space for the group to be together or spend time separately. Its in a beautiful location and we would definitely return again if we can. Much enjoyed by all for a relaxing, and very enjoyable holiday.

Little gem in the heart it Lot et Garrone

The stay could not have been better. The photos do not do justice to the place. The mill is amazing. The location is gorgeous, by the river with a view on an old stone bridge from the living room. Each bedroom has an individual bathroom. And the best is the way we were welcomed. Highly recommend.

Unforgettable house with amazing hosts

My parents and I stayed at the moulin for 3 unforgettable nights. The old moulin has been meticulously updated with all modern amenities and is very comfortable. Amazing views from the windows, sound of the river below coming through bedroom windows, the cleanest and most refreshing swimming pool we have ever seen (cleaned daily!) and a true chef's kitchen. The owner, Marie Claude, was a Michelin-starred chef and not only she was a generous and welcoming host, she left home-made jams and other goodies for us to enjoy. They were very responsive to all our inquiries before booking the place and were always there when we needed anything. As a bonus her son runs a delicious pizza cafe just across the street so we were very well taken care of. Cannot recommend enough.

Family Holiday

This property is perfect for a quiet family holiday or for those with larger groups. The property is old and has plenty of character for those searching for a authentic French experience. The property is more suitable for those families with older children due to the location on the river and with the pool being slightly removed from the house. The property owner could not be more hospitable and welcoming. The house is set in a quiet & stunning rural village with a fabulous pizza restaurant (pay by cash only) with people from surrounding villages traveling to eat there. The pristine pool is set on a spacious private island next to the house. There is plenty of seating and games such as a ping pong table. The pool house has a fridge, BBQ and everything you need to spend the day relaxing.

Merci à Marie-Claude pour son accueil chaleureux, ses précieux conseils, son sens de l'humour et sa joie de vivre. Nous avons passé une semaine dans un lieu douillet, plein de charme, idéal pour des vacances en famille. Nous avons découvert le pays d'Albret entre bastides, rivières et vignobles. Moulin de la belle Gascogne

Nous avons passés nos vacances dans ce moulin qui est une demeure splendide, beaucoup d'espace et tout ce qu'il faut pour si sentir bien. Il ne manque rien. Marie-Claude notre hôte est très accueillante et fait tout pour que le séjour soit le meilleur. Elle nous a très bien accueilli, renseigné sur des choses à voir, à faire et nous a gâté avec son vin, ses beaux légumes et sa gentillesse. Ce séjour a été parfait.... Ne pas hésiter à le louer voir le re-louer ☺️.

Un séjour qui restera dans la mémoire.

C’est une maison incroyable qui a tout le charme de l’ancien , tout en étant très confortable. Idéale pour un séjour en famille et pour des amoureux cuisiniers : la cuisine est impressionnante, mais nous avons aussi profité de la piscine très grande au calme , des chambres d’un très grand confort , et aussi du charme du paysage du pays dAlbret . Mais plus que tout il y a l’accueil attentionné et chaleureux de Marie Claude qui nous accueille dans sa maison mais aussi dans son village . Bref un tres joli endroit pour tous ceux qui aiment le calme, la nature et découvrir de très jolis villages aux alentours .

Poudenas is a pretty little village and the Property is located next to the river. The Property is fully equipped with a fantastic kitchen and other facilities. We received a warm welcome and Marie visited us everyday to check that everything was fine. Thank you for having us

Semaine très agréable

Cadre merveilleux -hôtesse d'accueil des plus prévenantes et vraiment très à l'écoute. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille et nos enfants et petits enfants ont été très heureux et garderont dans leur mémoire ce moulin plein de charme. A réserver sans hésiter.

Lieu magnifique

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans ce très beau moulin restauré. Les chambres sont très spacieuses, on y dort comme des bébés 😊. La cuisine est très bien équipée pour cuisiner pour un groupe de plus de 10 personnes. Très belle piscine entourée de bambous. Et aussi et surtout, l’accueil très chaleureux et bienveillant de Marie-Claude qui nous fait encore plus aimer ce lieu. Encore merci Marie-Claude, on vous embrasse tous ainsi que votre mari.

Une belle maison de famille

La propriétaire réserve un accueil comme il n’en existe plus, gentillesse et souci du bien être de ses hôtes. Un lieu magnifique et un gîte confortable où chacun trouve vite sa place. Un grand jardin et une piscine que les grands et les petits apprécient. Un séjour que l’on renouvellera avec plaisir.
