VÀlkommen till Taumata, ett tre sovrum fritidshus med vacker utsikt över Hot Water Beach i Nya Zeelands fantastiska Coromandel Peninsula. Du Àr ögonblick frÄn stranden, som ligger bara 50 meter promenad bort.
Hot Water Beach har utsetts till en av de tio strÀnderna i vÀrlden och gör en perfekt semesterort. Det ligger pÄ östra kusten av Coromandelhalvön, mellan Tairua och Hahei Beach, cirka 2 timmar bilresa frÄn Auckland eller Hamilton.
Hot Water Beach Àr unik eftersom heta kÀllor strömmar till strandytan vid lÄgvatten, vilket innebÀr att du kan koppla av i din egen termiska hetpool som du bokstavligen grÀver ur sanden. Vi erbjuder en gratis uppsÀttning spadar och spader för att grÀva din pool.
Hot Water Beach Àr perfekt för fiske, surfing, strand och buske promenader, kajakpaddling och fÄgelskÄdning. Plus lagunerna i bÄda Àndarna av stranden Àr idealiska för barnen att simma och fiska i.
I nÀrheten finns Hahei Beach och den perfekta Cathedral Cove. Dessa strÀnder ligger bara 10-15 minuters bilresa bort, med Cooks Beach, Flaxmill Bay och Ferry Landing bara 15-20 minuter bort (dÀr du kan njuta av en kort fÀrjetur över till Whitianga och Mercury Bay).
Taumata Àr en av de fÄ husen pÄ Hot Water Beach och Àr tillgÀnglig för att hyra pÄ lÄng eller kort sikt till noga och ansvariga familjer och mogna grupper.

Fantastic location with magic views

Only a short walk to the beach and cafes, this old school bach has an unbeatable location with spectacular views. The owner is lovely and very helpful and the property is equipped with everything you might need. The lawns were long and a broken umbrella attached to the deck looked a bit shabby but this may have been due to Cyclone Gabrielle.

Great location: needs a deep clean

We had to cut our stay a day short because the level of dust/cobwebs caused an allergic reaction (something that had never happened before!). Kitchen was clean and toy area was cute. Just all quite dusty. If you’re not worried about that, this place is nice. Porch is gorgeous with super easy access down to HWB.

Fantastic spot

Loved this old school classic kiwi bach. Had a bit of trouble getting in as we were never given the location of the safety box and spent about 15 minutes searching for it in the dark. Didn’t get a response from Carol but soon found it. The kitchen had everything you need and the lounge made for a great spot in the evenings. The deck was the winner with the incredible view (The photos don’t do it justice !) We had a fantastic time for a long weekend. Would love to return. Thanks Carol.

Absolutely perfect location- the view from the home is incredible. We loved the easy walk to the hot water beach (and the supplied shovels!). Our kids enjoyed the play area upstairs and swings outside. Host communication was excellent!

Carol and Lane have owned this much-loved holiday home for over 40 years. Our three children grew up enjoying their holidays there, and now bring our grandchildren to enjoy it too. We enjoy sharing our holiday home with like-minded families from all over the world.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We chose Hot Water Beach to build our family holiday home because of its unique location on the Coromandel Peninsula and of course the very special hot mineral springs, where you can enjoy your own 'hot pool' on the beach. Our property faces due North and has excellent views along this beautiful white, sandy beach. We have also enjoyed many water sports here over the years including swimming, surfing, fishing, kayaking, and of course dolphin watching - we love watching them play in the waves.
One our favourite 'special' things to do locally is to visit the excellent Lost Spring Geothermal Pools, Day Spa and Cafe/Restaurant in nearby Whitianga.

Relax in your own 'hot pool' on the beach fed by natural underground springs.
Fantastic views right along the white sandy beach.
Excellent surf at most times of the year.
Beautiful starlit nights - the sky on a clear night is magical!
If you're lucky, you'll see a group of dolphins playing in the waves!
We really recommend the excellent Hot Waves Cafe in Hot Water Beach - this is our family's favourite place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Go wine tasting at the stunning Mercury Bay vineyard at Cooks Beach, a short drive away.
World-renowned Cathedral Cove is a 15 minute drive away
