The smoke alarms in the bedroom areas are mandatory by law, these have been tested and are in good working order. The dishwasher works, you just have to turn it on and move the selector, the smoke alarm in the lounge that is not mandatory, will be replaced before the next guests arrive, thank you for drawing this to my attention, very much appreciated.

We had a fantastic stay at this accommodation. The location was perfect — nice and quiet, yet close enough to easily walk to the shops and everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and the room setup worked really well for our mixed group of singles and couples. Everyone had their own space, and we all slept really well. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made meal prep easy. It truly felt like a home away from home.We would happily stay here again — hopefully for a bit longer next time so I can make time to do the Tongariro River Walk! Highly recommended.

Ticked the box nicely

We were spending the days with family in nearby Omori and only came back to the house to sleep so it met the need very well. Nice bathroom and showers and plenty of beds.

Comfortable stay

Had everything we needed. Location was good but lots of mosquitoes probably due to being near the river. Loved the water pressure in the shower.

Perfect for family with dogs

This is the ideal stay if you have dogs, there is a park straight over the road, the garden is enclosed. The house and furniture are clean and tidy but not new, you feel like you can relax without having to police the dogs 24/7.
