Beautifullly located Bach

We were delighted to stay in this beautiful home. It was so lovely to be right on the lakeside with stunning views. The house was very well equipped with everything you needed. The furniture and beds were comfortable. We would love to return

Fantastic Location!!!

We have booked this for the Ironman World Championships in Taupo in 2024 and it was just fantastic location directly at the run course of the event. Very nice interaction with the Host, always responsive, just perfect!

Amazing views great location

We stayed for 3 nights. Bach was warm and cosy and had everything we needed for a great family holiday. Great lakefront location with an easy walk to sailing club for breakfast and dinner. Supermarket close by and a short drive to Taupo town.

fabulous location - every amenity needed to have a very comfortable stay - easy check in/check out. Love the view from the bedroom and lounge - great all year round - loved the closeness to our favourite eater the two mile bay sailing club!!

Fantastic Location

Location was great right on the Lakefront and Lake Walk with gorgeous views and lovely afternoon sun. Perfect for walks and bike rides. Two Mile Sailing Club with yummy food & drink options and dog-friendly with relaxed vibes is a nice short walk away too. Check-in was easy and good communication with host.

Perfect for stress relief

With a few stressful weeks of relocating my parents to a rest home this was the perfect break away. Far better than expected, the home is spacious, very well equipment and comfortable, including the beds. The location was perfect, especially being on the Lake. This will be at the top of my list for my next NZ break away.

Loved it!

We always thoroughly enjoy our stay here. Safe swimming, amazing views and so great being right on the walkway. Beds very comfortable, house is clean and has everything you need. Perfect seaside house near to Taupo

Wir haben die 3 Tage in vollen Zügen genossen. Sehr ruhig gelegen und trotzdem mit dem Auto schnell im Zentrum von Taupo. Auch zu Fuß eine tolle Kneipe/Restaurant/nur Pizza/ Kaffee zu erreichen.

Great spot

Perfect location. Short walk to lakeside cafe and right beside lakeside walk and cycle way. Having the lawnmowing , weedeating and leaf blowing being done while we were there was very loud and felt intrusive, with the worker not hesitating to look through the window at us. Other than that would totally recommend the spot. Very expensive for 2 'gold card' people, but it was absolute lakeside and a treat for us.

Step back in time

Staying here was like stepping back in time to a simpler era. A cosy house with a simple kitchen and mismatched furniture. However it is warm and cosy and has everything you need to fit our family of five comfortably. The shower pressure is great. The ten steps to the lake even better. Make sure to explore the waters edge to find where the hot springs enter. There are many more modern options on the lake but this one truly feels like a home. We had a brilliant time doing all the activities in the area- hot springs; hiking; cycling; jet boating; white water rafting; luge and some fascinating geography. A great base for a week to explore the area.

Lake side house

We loved our stay here. Everything was just as in the pictures. We loved because no able to walk across the lawn, being able to head straight towards the water for a swim. Would definitely stay here again.
