The perfect holiday bach

First stay in Waiheke

The property had everything we required plus more. Communication with Milly was excellent making the process very easy. Everything matched the online information. Location was also perfect.

Lovely space

Myself and a group of friends stayed here whilst attending a wedding at the nearby Goldie Estate. Nice open living dining area onto the deck. We appreciated the large mirrors in all the rooms for getting ready. Short walk to the Surfdale shops and bus stop for easy access to the rest of the island. Would stay again :)

Great Family Space

The property has a great layout for adult family and plenty of space for us all to function. The location is central and walking distance to the local store and cafe. It is possible to walk into the main town of Oneroa if you enjoy a walk! The property is in close proximity to other houses and has no privately fenced garden. The lawn area is overlooked by the neighbours. This was not a problem for us at all during our stay but others may prefer more privacy. We will definitely come again. The owner was easy to deal with and the house immaculate! Happy Days!

Surfdale stay

The house was really clean and had everything we needed - well stocked cleaning products, kitchen staples etc. Beds were comfy too. Being that the house is elevated, it does move quite a bit when people are moving around the house - we noticed this but it wasn't an issue. The heatpump (aircon) was great for the very hot days we had. There was one fan in a room and we took a travel fan with us too. As the aircon doesn't reach the bedrooms, a fan in each room would have been ideal. But again, we managed fine. Location was good for Surfdale shops and the bus although there are no footpaths so keep that in mind for young children. We didn't have a car so the location wasn't as convenient as we could have chosen on Waiheke as Surdale is quite small, however we did everything we needed to through buses and occassional (extortionate) taxis.

Fantastic Location

Fabulous property, had everything we need, clean and tidy, great location and great view. Great communication with host and whole process was seamless. Great information provided by host for things to do in the island. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would love to go back.

Modern, clean and Tidy

Great property, owners communicated really well, checked our requirements for beds setup before we arrived and were very accomodating. Property was perfect as was a great base on the island and when weather turned it was very comfortable base for our family. House was modern, tidy and warm. Highly recommend!!!

The property suited our needs as a family, with everything that we needed. Nice and clean and welcoming. We utilised the deck area outside. It has some sea views and location is good. A bonus being able to use the vehicle. We would stay there again in the future.

Stayed here in Feb 2015 with a family group. It was lovely, clean and had all the amenities required. Lovely deck, which was ideal for outdoor dining. I would definitely recommend this Bach to others.

Idyllic getaway

Easy to book and very good communication with owner. House was just perfect. We particularly enjoyed the bbq and deck. Loved that we were in walking distance from Surfdale beach, Malone’s Irish bar and the French cafe. Would rate A++ & would definitely book again.

Family Xmas

We booked the bach months ago for family xmas. It couldn't have been better. It looks brand new, is very tidy clean, open plan and modern. It had everything we needed including a bbq and decking. The access was easy and the use of the car a real bonus. Communication with owner friendly, prompt, and efficient. A dream to clean at tjrhe end of the week. Can really recommend this property.
