Kajaker kan hyras i Cissy Bay eller fisketurer frÄn French Pass, som ligger 20 minuters bilresa frÄn bach. MÄnga platser att promenera eller bara sitta pÄ dÀck och koppla av och njuta av utsikten.

Wonderful and picturesque

Quaint property, Beautiful views, lovely we spot and awesome fishing. Place was nice and tidy, friendly neighbours had a great time. Highly recommend staying.

Great family holiday spot.

12 day stay. Bach no frills but clean and comfortable and located in beautiful spot. Had everything we needed plus some unique features. Good boating , fishing and hiking in the area. Great communication with owner, very responsive to and queries. Would stay again.

Lovely place

As listed, lovely location all amenities were on site with the true kiwi bach feel to it. The communication with the host was clear and really enjoyed our time here. Would definitely return in the future

Brilliant break away

Great old school beach bach holiday experience in an awesome part of the country. We spent all our time out on the water fishing, exploring in the rocks and discovering isolated bays. Thanks for the awesome stay!

Quintessential Kiwi Bache

This is a quintessential kiwi bache, in a very unique and beautiful part of the world.The setting is superb looking out over the water. Because of its remoteness it is so quiet and tranquil, a place to truly get away from it all.While it is no frills, you don’t want for anything else in this setting. And the owner was only too willing to help where she could.

Summertime relaxing

2 of the bedrooms had a married couple sleep in them. The larger bunk room upstairs was the 3rd bedroom and two females had a bed each there.Not suitable for another couple as it was an open share room. Very pleasant though.Other couple used a tent comfortably. It was warm. It was comfortable. We enjoyed a wonderful relaxing stay.The bathroom was small but we managed.

Amazing views

Photos pretty much sums it up. Average kiwi Bach. Nothing fancy but has everything you need. Amazing views. It didn't mention that the upstairs room wasn't accessible from the inside but apart from that a nice layout. Had a few issues with power outage but that wasn't the property managers fault, just one of those things. When I rung her she sent someone straight away to help. Great host. A great place if you just want to relax with breath taking views.

Beautiful area

We all had a super time. It might pay to alert people enquiring that the upstairs bedroom is only accessible from the outside. Due to the rain the steps and deck were very slippery. Just a suggestion, otherwise an excellent few days. Absolutely love the area

A lovely peaceful place to stay

We very much enjoyed the opportunity to stay in this part of New Zealand. The house has a very pleasant view over Cissy Bay. Is is a comfortable bach and the kitchen is well stocked with basic items. It was clean and tidy and homely. Our host was very approachable and super helpful. Our only problem was with getting our boat back up the boat ramp. It would be easier with a 4 wheel drive. Just one minor comment with the property - the gas barbecue could do with a clean - we didn't use it but would have liked to, though we did use the other wood-fired barbecue.

Great location

Absolutely beautiful location and all the essentials are at the batch, outstanding views and very close to the water and boat ramp, neighbours were lovely with lots of tips on what to do around the bay (fishing, beaches, walks) Unfortunately the place was extremely dirty, it stunk when we first arrived, the smell left quickly once the the batch was aired out but that didn’t remove all the dead flies and dust, all the dishes needed to be cleaned before use as they were filthy, my wife had to spend most of her time outstanding de due to allergies and all the dust and no doubt dust mites. To summarise lovely spot but batch needs a good clean!
