Beautiful in every way

We stayed here for our honeymoon, it was absolutely picturesque and perfect. The view was unbelievable and the amenities were great.For anyone looking for a romantic getaway with a significant other, this is the spot. We didn’t want to leave!

Amazing Stay!

This was an incredible stay! The hosts were very lovely and super accomodating. The personal touches throughout the beautiful train were nothing short of amazing, the view is just incredible!! It’s extremely peaceful and the perfect little getaway. You will not be disappointed and definitely worth the cost.

AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!!!

The hosts are incredibly friendly and accommodating, just amazing. This isn't just a stay but an EXPERIENCE.The carriage/bach itself is full of character and charm with an astonishing view overseeing a massive part of the bay of plenty/tauranga area. The carriage is spacious and well laid out, supplied with pots, pans, cutlery, plates, cups etc. Marian has also taken the time to write up the story of the waiata star and the property which was a fantastic read with great humour and answers all the questions you might have for your stay. You are also supplied with a continental breakfast and a bathroom care package.We got to meet a foal which was born just 2 DAYS before our arrival and interact with the horses. We were also able to hire a quad bike from our hosts to fully explore the property and given almost full freedom to explore, bar the paddocks with livestock. As we stayed over new years we got to see HUNDREDS of fireworks set off all across the region including the large ones in tauranga. Couple it with the unabated view of the stars and milky way, it was simply MAGICAL.
