Historic Downtown Lincoln's Loft Derby Suite - Lincoln, IL

Lincoln's Loft is a historically and beautifully renovated space with modern amenities and features in Downtown Lincoln, IL. The Lofts are close to downtown shopping, eateries, and nightlife. Located inside a historic downtown building with another loft, please keep in mind other guests by keeping the noise to a minimum between 10 pm and 8 am.

The space features an open concept layout, with a large great room comprised of a fully equipped kitchen and a large livingroom space, with a 4 person kitchen table and an island that also seats 2. The historic renovation includes refinished original hardwood floors, and beautifully exposed brick walls. Through the large reclaimed sliding door, you will find the bedroom that has two queen size beds, a desk that can be used as an office work space, A full sized private laundry facility is included inside the space with laundry detergent and dryer sheets. The large walk in closet includes extra bedding linens, 2 air mattresses, hangers, iron and ironing board, and a luggage rack.

As this loft is located in the upstairs of a historic building, please expect stairs! There are 24 stairs to the second floor. We do not have an elevator.

Anniversary Getaway

We came up to go to the Farm Progress Show in Decatur and stayed in Lincoln. The place look exactly like it did on VRBO But once you got into the room, it was better. Megan was an excellent host, I had questions, and she responded right away. There is a lot of history in Lincoln and surrounding area. Megan had given us a fun fact about the place we stayed in, the Derby Suite, that it was Abraham Lincolns office while he was in office. The court house was right across the street. You have to try out the Italian place called Gullzardo's, its within walking distance from where your staying. Excellent steaks and Italian food.

Lincoln hometown visit

Great Stay in Lincoln

We had a great stay in Lincoln, Illinois. The VRBO location was in a neighborhood with all kinds of stores & offered some amazing bakeries. The apartment was clean and beautifully decorated. It offered a spacious living section and many enjoyable amenities. I would definitely stay there next year when we return to Lincoln.

Loved this loft. Very roomy and open. Had what we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Loved the updates to this historical building and very convenient to walk to many places in downtown Lincoln. Host was very helpful.

A much needed break

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lincoln, IL. The apartment was perfect and close to shops and restaurants. We also went to the Lincoln Museum and Library in Springfield which is only about 40 minutes away. I'll probably come back with my mom in the future!

Lovely historic apartment with great location

Although too cold to walk around much, the location and views of the downtown are excellent. The apartment had everything we needed: large hi-def tv, well equipped kitchen and even board games to make the time we spent in the apartment comfortable and fly by all too fast. Excellent property! We’ll be back!
