Take a trip back in history to one of the first structures built in what was then, Hyatt Meadows by the original settlers, the Barron family. Rustic charm, cozy as can be, mountain cabin with great views and modern amenities; basic furnished kitchen, dishwasher, gas BBQ grill, TV-DVD, Wi-Fi. Two bedroom plus loft, one bath, 3 queen beds, one twin (sleeps seven). Everything you need for the perfect get-away with family or friends. Two local restaurants just minutes away at The Green Springs Inn or The Hyatt Resort. Adventure awaits; rent Kayaks and paddle about Hyatt Lake, fish, hike, hunt, boat, sail, trail ride, all summer and fall long! Access the snow park sled hill for snow fun in the winter and return to a toasty fire in the fireplace!.

We really enjoyed the cabin. It was cozy and the fireplace heated the cabin well. Don replenished our wood, on the porch, when we were out and about. It was much appreciated. Lots of games which the kids really enjoyed, and adults.

The cottage was clean and comfortable. The hosts were great. They replied quickly to any and all questions. The scenery was beautiful with wildlife all around the cabin. The PCT trail close by for hiking.

Its a very cute and rustic cabin that fit our family with ease. We played games, saw lots of deer, went paddle boarding and did all things smores and bbq! The kitchen was awesome and the bbq was so convenient!

Beautiful lake view! This cabin was so cozy and fit our group of 4 perfectly. The beds were comfy. The yard was filled with games like horseshoes and badminton; the living room had board games and an assortment of dvds. It is a rustic, rural retreat. Not far from a few lake side marinas / restaurants. Great connection to WiFi. Stock up on a few things to eat and drink before you head to the cabin and bring a good book, or two!

The touch surfaces were cleaned great. Toys and movies for kiddos. Water was nice and hot. However there was a mice problem that could not be resolved and we ultimately had to end our trip short. The cabin is decorated super cute and has beautiful views were we watched a deer mosey on by.

The historic Hyatt Lake cabin was fabulous - the modernization of the cabin was wonderful. The little details like Moose Country dishes, and old fashion style quilts on the beds were perfect. The modern conveniences like a dishwasher and rain shower shower head made the stay comfortable too. We BBQ'd, played horse shoes and had a fire in the fireplace. We went to see matinees at OSF and it was great coming back to a cozy retreat. We hope to come back again for a longer stay.

Great little cabin

Great little cabin was perfect for 4 adults and 2 children also had two dogs. Wonderful porch to sit on drink coffee while the sun came up. Would recommend to any and can’t wait to book it again for a next stay

Cozy and relaxing stay

We stayed for two nights and had a very good time. We specially loved the detailed decoration, the good equipped kitchen and the fireplace. This is the perfect place for a getaway from work.
