This is my home that I live in nearly full-time. I go away from time to time and like to keep it occupied and cared for.
Inside: The main level has a separate mudroom which opens into the hallway, living room, eat-in kitchen, laundry room, and access to deck and backyard. I have several plants in the living room that I may ask you to water if you stay longer than a week. You can use my Netflix account when you need to take a break from the non-stop tourism St. John's offers. There are 3 chairs at the dining table off the kitchen but I can provide another if you are 4 guests. The kitchen has everything you'd expect but I can accommodate special requests if you're unsure.
Upstairs is the 3 piece bathroom and 2 bedrooms. The back bedroom overlooks the backyard and has a small closet, bed with built in charging ports and lights, and an Endy mattress. The front bedroom has a small closet, office desk & chair, and a Intex Dura-Beam Deluxe Queen air mattress with built in headboard. This is better than most beds I've slept in while travelling and doesn't require constant refilling.
Outside: You can park in the driveway out front or use the bus that stops across the street, but walking is the preferred way to get around. There are 2 grocery stores each only a couple blocks away. Fabulous Foods is also down the street serving local comfort food for over 25 years. The Rooms is a must see Newfoundland & Labrador museum with a wonderful cafe serving full meals, and is an 8 minute walk. Or continue toward the harbour and enjoy pubs, restaurants and a screech-in on George Street which is a 15 stroll past the colourful rowhouses of downtown St. John's.
