Welcome to your log cabin retreat nestled on 2.5 acres of serene woodland in Beulah, Michigan. Just a 2-minute walk from your doorstep, unwind on the private deck and tiki bar overlooking the Platte Riverâperfect for fishing, sipping coffee, or enjoying the tranquil water. Wade into the shallows to cool off, or launch your kayak or canoe for a peaceful paddle. For an guided adventure, or drop off/pick up, enjoy a trip with one of the several nearby rental companies.
Within minutes, explore Northern Michigan's best: hiking, kayaking, tubing, fishing, golf, spa treatments, outdoor movies, concerts, skiing, snowboarding, and ice skating. After a day of adventure, relax with a movie, board game, puzzle ,Wii Competition or whip up a meal in the fully equipped kitchen. For a night out, visit local restaurants, the tiki bar/igloo ice bar (at nearby Tipsy Canoe Rental & Brew), or the nostalgic drive-in movie theater.

Generally, dogs love the water and places to explore. Pet food does tend to attract mice, so vigilance is needed.

Snowmobiles: a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground. Snowmobiles are not allowed for use on the property.
