From foster care to CEO: Jia has been working in real estate her entire career. She was a senior AVP in the mortgage services industry by the age of 20, then a senior VP of a mortgage firm by 27. She had done what many people aspire to do: climb the corporate ladder. She then started Palacio Properties. She was always naturally drawn to the hospitality industry, to create a "home-like" feel for her guests.
