First upon arrival, there was a homeless man laying under car port, 2nd- unmarked car with 2 holes in driver side window. Up keep around building terrible, 3rd- garbage packed under bunk beds, 4th- used band aid on couch, 5th- carpets throughout home completely stained and dirty, 5th- Home needs to be deep cleaned (every room). Was not what my family was expecting from pics.

Pulling up to the property was misleading and a little concerning. We arrived in the evening so having to locate the lock box in the back of the building which wasn't well lit or well kept, felt a bit scary. Also, there was a car parked with a busted window and a homeless person camped by the parking spaces, so we parked out front. There were also several lock boxes which was a bit confusing to figure out which one held the keys to the property. Once we were inside, all was fine. It was spacious and clean, save for the carpets which need to be cleaned or removed altogether. Everything else was fine. The bed was comfy, the lighting was great and it had all that we needed. Thank you for the accommodations.

Beautiful loft

Owner was flexible with us when we had to change dates due to a family member’s health issues. It’s a beautiful loft in an ideal location.

Decorative and Spacious

Had a great visit here with family. Played dominos, cards and watched movies. Once we got our groceries we had everything we needed without leaving. The decorations are beautiful with great art work, spacious and clean.

The space was as advertised, although entry was a little bit difficult to access. The loft is very cool and large, with furniture that is more industrial than comfortable. (Think electic and artsy - not cushy and warm) open concept showers looked cool but were chilly! There were delicious restaurants within walking distance. Check out the state theater for events! We found a cool fashion show! Coffee Expressions was super great (there are limited mugs in the home if you make your own.) We presumed downtown is likely really fun in warm weather. We were here in fall and it was a bit deserted. Drive to Yellow Springs for fun shopping. It would’ve been cool to know some history of the loft building. Hiking at Cedar Cliff Falls was gorgeous!

I am not happy with this stay. The fees alone were more than 1/3 of cost for a two night stay. The area is very dirty rough. The check in process is a nightmare. We still have never got a phone call back… glad we got in. Sink in kitchen is leaking, sink in bathroom falls off, hallway/stairway is disgusting. Barbed wire along the fence when you get there. Long list of wants when you checkout, but not near enough info on how the heck to get in. 5 different boxes everywhere between from and back. So just so you know, there is a a couple of black lock boxes on the back hand railing. Use the one right in front of the back door. We will not be staying here or anywhere that Evolve is involved with. Still no communication with them.

From the owner: We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We are available for all our guests and are only a phone call away. We did not have any missed calls or messages from you during your stay. - The bathroom sink is mounted to the wall and is very sturdy unless someone sat on it. We will check for damages. - The lock box is in the back, and it's black with a cover over the numbers. We will put a red sticker on it so that it can be identified immediately. - The wire is at the next building because it is being renovated, this is for safety purposes. - We were not aware of the leak in the kitchen and will have it repaired immediately. - The hallways are cleaned by someone from the building association.We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

This place is unique. I'm sure it would be great for a group of young people. It was not the best fit for our family.The description says it sleeps 8, but 6 is the max. The "double sofa beds" in the living room are futons that lay flat like a platform. They are only supported on one side and are slightly wider than a twin bed. Can't imagine 2 people sleeping there togetherThe futons are in a wide open space with large windows/no window coverings - it is noisy and bright. The "bedroom" with the twin beds is also open to the main space, so when the sun is up it is brightCheck in was rough. I arrived alone at dusk. This property is surrounded by abandoned buildings & a vacant lot. There were 8-10 teenagers loitering by my car. Instructions for how to get in were confusing. I fumbled with the key without being able to open it. Called the emergency number - no answer, left a message, texted, emailed, then called again before I got a response. Turns out, the keybox on the railing you see first is not the one you want. Go up the stairs, turn left, and there are two more keyboxes there. One of those has the key This is a 3rd floor apartment with no elevator. The VRBO description does say there are 2 flights of stairs, but I missed that. I booked a hotel last minute for my mother - between the stairs and the lack of comfortable sleeping options, I couldn't ask her to stay there.Bathroom sink was brokenA microwave would be nice
