Kimberley Creek Cabin is located on a 2 1/2 acre lot surrounded by an old growth forest with a stream running through the property. If you are looking to connect with nature and you enjoy upscale facilities, then this special vacation spot gives you the best of both worlds.

We are close to hiking, cycling, canoeing, winter sports, spas, art studios, and fine dining, or simply relax by the fire-pit or on one of the two private decks.

This completely updated 2 bedroom, 1 ½ bathroom cabin sleeps six and features:

•Fully equipped kitchen with quartz countertops
•Professionally decorated, open concept interior with upscale furnishings, including leather sofabed
•TV, cable and internet
•Large walk-in shower with luxury rain shower-head and combination Euro style under-counter washer/dryer unit in the bathroom

The exterior provides ample space for relaxation and play. We're adjacent to the Bruce Trail for guests who enjoy hiking. The property is perfect for stargazing or watching the fireflies glow.

Guests have use of the entire home and property that they can access from their own private drive and bridge.

The Kimberly General Store, Justin's Oven and Hearts Restaurant are a short walk into Kimberley Village. You're a ten minute drive to Down Home, a MICHELIN recognized restaurant, featuring foods gathered or grown in Grey County in seasonal tasting menus.

Why not try forest bathing. Simply taking a walk in the surrounding forest. Forest bathing is a trend which emerged in Japan that has made its way to North America. Studies in Japan have shown that "the scents of trees, the sounds of brooks and the feel of sunshine through forest leaves can have a calming effect" which reduces stress and makes people feel at ease. It can also strengthen the immune system. Kimberley Creek Cabin is the ideal spot to experience "forest therapy". You will be glad you stayed!

Delightful getaway

Cozy A-frame nestled in the woods, this place surpassed our expectations. The property is tucked back from the main road, and while the owner’s house is visible close by, the trees and the sound of the creek give excellent privacy. The house felt spacious for two of us and was very well equipped. We did not use the upper level but it’s adorable though definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility concerns (*very* steep stairs to access).

Gillade: Renlighet, incheckning, kommunikation, plats och annonsens riktighet

Karen and Steven's A-frame and surrounding forest area was a little slice of heaven. The home was spotless, and was fully stocked with kitchen utensils/cookware/plateware. There were plenty of bed linens/towels, and the beds were comfortable. Karen and Steven welcomed us, and shared some of the local spots to visit and eat...they know the area very well and had some great stories to tell. The best part was listening to the sound of the Kimberley Creek and enjoying my morning coffee on the deck overlooking the water. Kimberley itself is a sweet village, with some outstanding eateries, and the best general store I've visited in a long time. Karen and Steven's place is situated right in the village, so everything is within walking distance. We are hoping to stay with them again as we continue our Bruce Trail end-to-end hike.
