Great stay

I loved the overall vibe of the property. It gave a nice and warm feeling. My only gripe, no way around it, the 4 flights of stairs.

Sand Villa 26

The listing is on the 3rd floor & the wording makes it seem like the 1 bedroom is on the main floor which is wrong. The only actual bedroom is up a narrow set of spiral stairs that leave grease all over your clothes & dont seem very safe. The cleaners didnt sweep very good as there was sand & dirt everywhere in the floor. The pillows are absolutely filthy. The biggest thing is the 1st full day we were there, 2 men just walked in the front door & said they were there to change a light bulb & set of broken blinds. I mean both of those things could've waited until the unit was empty. I called Vacasa a few times & sent a message but no reply or calls back. I hate to leave a negative review but there was too many issues.

Lesson learned

The room don’t have any smoke detectors. We found what looked like cockroaches in the kitchen. The building is very old. While I’m the room you could feel the building sway back and forth. Why i don’t know. I will definitely use verbo again but will never stay at that location again. We had a great trip but horrible place to stay.

Close to the beach but nope!

Internet access was not available. Basically went through through house looking for a missing modem. Vacasa sent someone around 4 the next day while we were out so that was never resolved. There were holes in the walls by the latter that haven't been patched. The patched places in the home haven't been painted or anything. Worse of all we noticed roaches!!!! Needless to say we never unpacked our bags and had to stay out of the room as much as possible on a cold rainy trip.

Neat little place close to the beach

I loved the location for sure. It was quite and steps away from the beach. After climbing 6 sets of stairs = 42 steps with luggage and groceries Then got inside and had to maneuver the luggage up a narrow spiral staircase or up the ladder to the loft we were exhausted. The condo/apartment was very cute but was not cleaned well AT ALL. I spent the entire first day cleaning and washing the bed linens. There were hand prints all over the mirrors, inches of dust on fans, blinds and tables. The baseboards, doors and frames probably haven’t been touched in months. I found clothing, pills and cut off straws in master bedroom, underneath bed and in upstairs bathroom. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths. They also has plenty of beach chairs and had provided 4 beach towels. There is private laundry which was a HUGE plus but you have to remove all the beach equipment to get in the laundry room which was also filthy. I personally would not stay here again due to the stairs and all the cleaning I had to do upon arrival. It is a neat little place, though I would recommend a new cleaner/ crew cause the tenant is the one having to pay the cleaning fee. I downloaded the Vacasa app and check in/out was a breeze.

Great place close to the beach

Excellent place to stay! It was clean, close to the beach, it has a very good kitchen! The place has Washer and Dryer which were very helpful. It won't be appropriate for the elderly since they have to climb stairs to get into the apartment and to get into the room, but for young families with teenagers it is fantastic. We will stay there again!! Really loved the place!!

Awesome top floor corner unit!

This worked well for us with two small kids. We brought a baby gate for the spiral stairs. Very close to the beach access point and very private and quiet. The little pool was very cute.

Beach Stay

Poor experience with air conditioning and the response of the property managment . The property air never got under 75 degrees even after the property managment team sent someone out after two days of the report.

No towels, previous owners trash and tv doesn’t work.

The room itself was very cute. However, the TVs did not work (based on the guestbook it’s been an ongoing issue for months based on their writings. When we arrived there was still trash in the trash can, the mirrors were all dirty and there wasn’t a single rag or towel in the unit. Called Vacasa at 4pm and was told within the hour someone would be there to clear the trash and get us towels. We didn’t receive these until after noon the following day. I had to make a follow up call to receive them.

Nice location

The home was very beautiful but it is all the way on the top floor and the tv’s did not work nor did they have Internet. I tried contacting the number on the front villa but it only contacted a man who only own’s 3 of the other apartments. Other than that the stay was nice and peaceful and a good spot right on the strip .

Adorable condo but get ready to climb!

This condo has so much charm and character and we thoroughly enjoyed it! However, before you can even make it to the adorable condo, you have to climb up 48 stairs! (This was not in the description at all!) We are only 57 & 59, but because of playing college sports when younger, we both have bad knees, so it was very hard for us to do all that climbing! Then, as if those stairs weren’t enough, to get to both bedrooms, you have to climb some more—either up a ladder or up a narrow, spiral staircase! My big suitcase would not fit up those stairs, so I had to leave it downstairs, which was inconvenient! The other bad thing was NO CABLE OR INTERNET at all! My husband called about this the first day, but we were out of luck! It would not have been so bad, except that it rained for two solid days. (You can only play so many games of cards with a teenage son!) We loved the spacious bathrooms and kitchen, though, the most! Our beds were comfy and again, the charm of this place was so evident! We also lacked for nothing—the owner had supplied every item we could think of needing! The laundry room was a huge bonus, also—as was the refreshing pool! Other than all the stairs, and no TV or Internet, we enjoyed this adorable condo! Oh! The dishes were dirty, so we had to wash everything before using, especially because of the COVID Pandemic. And finally, as far as getting to the beach, it was an easy, short walk with no climbing, for which we were thankful!
