Ideal property for large families, friends, and couples. Minutes from hiking/world-class mountain biking trails and downtown Bellingham. Just over one hour from the Mount Baker ski area, and 30 minutes to Canada. Bring your boat to put in at Bloedel Donovan boat launch and tie up at the dock.

Beautiful property!

Our family had an unforgettable time at Ashley’s gorgeous home. It was our first time spending the holidays in a rental and we were so happy we did! Not only was the home super clean and the water views spectacular, but Ashley was super communicative and flexible throughout the entire process. We highly recommend!!

Amazing spot!

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful! There are lots of great windows, and there is lots of space to mingle and hang out.

Absolutely wonderful

This home is exactly as pictured and described. It has everything we needed for a 2-week family getaway - dock and lake, beautiful lawn on the water, hot tub, gourmet kitchen, movie room, multiple relaxation spaces, nice table where a puzzle was always in progress in the kitchen, big dining room table, 4 different AC zones and also great air flow from the outdoors, big bedrooms and multiple bathrooms, great laundry room stocked with towels and sheets, basketball hoop, and many other water sports supplies.

Perfect for Proposal Weekend

We had large group in town (not all staying at the house) to surprise my son’s fiancé for their proposal weekend. The house was a perfect place to gather our group of 15 for meals and activities! Plenty of room to spread out and so many things to do that everyone enjoyed! We kayaked, SUPd, played badminton, air hockey, foosball, watched movies, hiked nearby, and enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings! Ashley was very easy to communicate with when planning for our trip and went above and beyond in making sure we had everything we needed!

the perfect weekend to celebrate a graduation

"Someday Came" was the perfect place for our family to spend an extended weekend together. We were in Bellingham to celebrate our daughter's WWU graduation, and the house has everything we needed and more. The view of the lake was incredible, even during stormy weather, and we enjoyed watching bald eagles fly by while sitting in the kitchen. The living room and fireplace were a favorite spot as well, so lovely. We loved the spacious kitchen and enjoyed cooking meals at home, even for our larger gang. We look forward to coming back again to enjoy a longer visit during summer weather, ( want to try those Kayaks out!) but we are so grateful for this lovely home and the memories we made here.

Beautiful house

This house is beautiful and spacious, with great views of the lake, and the owners were very responsive. With the kayaks, hot tub, and theater room, there was plenty to keep us all entertained. We enjoyed having so many ensuite bathrooms but strangely the large master bath has no electrical outlets. The kitchen is huge with plenty of dishes and glassware, however surprisingly understocked for preparing meals. There were only 2 skillets (a 10 inch with a wobbly handle and a 6 inch), no toaster, beaters, salad spinner, blender, rolling pin, or mixing bowls. Also, for 2 of the 3 full days of our stay, landscapers were on the property using loud equipment, and working in the yard and around the exterior of the house. However in spite of these issues, we highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

The lake view was spectacular and the house was more than what we expected. It is located right on the lake and the owners provided all the lake toys and essentials you need to enjoy the water.

Awesome stay on the lake!

Super spacious, clean, amazing views, easy lake access, fully stocked kitchen, tons of bedrooms and bathrooms, great for hosting a large family gathering. Beautifully landscaped and stunning home theater for those rainy days. Easy check-in and check out, incredible kitchen, stunning deck, plus a large hot tub! Loved this stay and excited to return.

A Lakeside Oasis

A gorgeous, accommodating space with a fantastic view of Lake Whatcom. Ashley was quick to respond and very helpful. The property had everything we needed and even came with SUPs, kayaks, and a canoe! We had a blast enjoying the nice sunny weather out on the lake. Would love to stay again.

Wonderful lakefront home

Beautiful, spacious lakefront home that had everything for all ages. Fun game room, easy to access water activity equipment, large jacuzzi, spacious kitchen, easy to use fireplaces, cozy bedrooms, and plenty of bathrooms. Peaceful neighborhood and beautiful lake views.

Lovely home, couple small issues. Overall recommend

Great stay overall! Really beautiful home and property. We would stay here again and recommend to friends. Host communicated well. Only small issues were that there were some sticky spills on the ground when we arrived and 2 of the beds were a bit uncomfortable. The couches however were exceptionally comfortable!

Fabulous Stay

We had an absolute blast! The house was perfect for our large family of adults, teens and kids. There was ample space for 10 people. The variety of activities available on the property kept everyone entertained. Ashley was incredibly accommodating and responded quickly to questions we had. We celebrated Thanksgiving while here, and the large kitchen had everything we needed. Two ovens and two dishwashers were added bonuses. The lake views from the house were amazing, and lake access was easy. We highly recommend this property!

Best end of summer lake vacay!

Our groups of six adults and four teens loved our long weekend at the lake. House is perfect for gathering families - plenty of space, huge kitchen, gorgeous deck, great TV/Game room. Lake, dock and yard were excellent for long days in our bathing suits in and out of the water.

Exquisite Views of Lake Whatcom

The moment we walked into the home the views from the kitchen and dining space were captivating! Such a perfect home for all ages. The deck was huge and comfy with outdoor furniture, a wonderful hot tub, and table and chairs. The weather was not as warm as we hoped during graduation weekend but the polar plunge into Lake Whatcom was still possible with the hot tub. The weather and winds prohibited our using the canoe, kayaks and paddle boards but all the water toys are a generous addition to family fun. There are plenty of games to entertain the family as well as a separate Theater room. We absolutely loved the home, and the spaciousness of the main bedroom and bathroom with an incredible soaking tub. The other 3 bedrooms had their own bathrooms and the theater room was great for older kids to sleep (and play foosball and air hockey.) We would love to come back to enjoy more outdoor water activities. We all felt relaxed and peaceful while enjoying the exquisite views from most of the rooms. Such a memorable Trifecta Weekend of activities celebrating a college graduation, a 44th wedding anniversary and Father’s Day! Perfect home for all families. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Family Thanksgiving Gathering

Our family all gathered at this home for the week of Thanksgiving. The property was as described in the listing. We were able to prepare our usual favorites in the kitchen and we did not have to purchase a lot of extras. The kitchen was well-appointed. The weather was uncharacteristically sunny and beautiful so the location on the lake was an added bonus. There were additional touches that we have not found in other homes that we have rented: there was hand soap in every bathroom, plenty of paper towels and toilet paper, as well as laundry and dishwasher soap. We will definitely consider staying here again next year!
