Gillade: Incheckning och kommunikation

You get what you pay for.

Location is fine. Property manager is communicative. However it photographs better than it is. There are dents and holes in the walls. There is no place to unpack your things or place your toiletries. The AC is either on or off. The remote to adjust does nothing. There are electric outlets that are taped to walls, and the walls are so thin that your neighbors are basically in your room. Also, if you are in the furthest room. You do not actually have internet. However, the room is cheap and the sheets are clean.

Sergio was a great host. He was very communicative and the location was perfect. My boyfriend and I loved all of the amazing Cuban restaurants that were in walking distance. The room was perfect for our needs. Could have used a little more table space or shelves to store our things, but overall we definitely enjoyed our stay

Nice property

The room worked great for us, and having AC was a definite plus. It is in a good area, in walking distance to a bunch of shops and restaurants and a quick Uber to Miami Beach. We had a little trouble with the WiFi and the first time I messaged the owner he just ignored it. But overall great stay!

In 1895 Florida experienced what became known as the Great Freeze, where the temperares in Florida dipped to record lows ; at that time Henry Flagler was an extremely influential figure and Julia Tuttle had been courting him to extend his railroad down to Miami, which he had refused up to this point since his favorite Citrus trees were doing great in Palm Beach. In 1896, after the Great Freeze had devastated most of the Citrus Groves north of Fort Lauderdale, Julia Tuttle sent a small box to Henry Flagler with a note that said "Dear Henry, How does your garden grow?" and a Orange Blossom and this is how Henry Flagler decided to extend his railroad and in doing so created the city of Miami and Little Havana in particular.

1896 to us means that Miami has always been a welcoming place, whether it is weather you are seeking, different cultures, night life or simply a place where you don't feel like a tourist (because at the end of the day all of us in Miami are), this city and us in particular will welcome you with open arms.

We fell in love with the location of this house. It is one block away from the heart of Little Havana but when you are in the patio you will feel 1,000 miles away from it all.

You will be in the heart of Little Havana, you can walk to all the great restaurants and night life. There is also a free trolley that will take you all the way to downtown. We offer free bicycles to ride around town and take in the Mediterranean and Art Deco architecture of one of Miami's oldest neighborhoods.
