Quiet Escape in a Log cabin Overlooking the Bay. Hottub, Nature and Tranquility.
(we've been hosting guests for over 3 years on the other STR site, with avg of 4.5 stars!)
There is something quite magical about a log cabin. Enjoy this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom log cabin with over 11 acres of forest. A wondrous getaway for your family. Enjoy walks on the estate, dog run for your best pal, wood fireplace in the winter & hot tub on the deck over-looking the bay. Newly installed zipline for kids! Whether in the summer or winter, this property leaves lasting memories. Ideal for families of all ages. Pets welcome!
Important: The waterfront is an ecological reserve and is quite wild. The water levels drop quite drastically from July to September so kayaking/canoeing may not be possible. Unfortunately, there is an invasive plant that has taken over the bay and it is very difficult to get boats on the water in the summer. It is not ideal for swimming or kayaking.
May to July can have lots of mosquitos. We provide Thermacell repellents and bug spray to guests. The deck and open space in front of the house has less mosquitoes because of the winds.
