Lovely quiet neighbors.
You're in the country with the Dungeness river 1 mile down the road by the Old Schoolhouse Museum bridge. 1 mile to the Beach!!!
Visit and drive thru the Olympic Game Farm just across the river from us!
The Strait of Juan de Fuca is only a mile or so from us in the same direction.
Walk to the Lighthouse at the end of the 5 mile famous Dungeness SPIT!
The longest Natural* spit in the United States & growing!
The river enters the Strait right here and this Spring our Guests had fun walking along Dungeness beach just down this road.
**Watch the Salmon Run during Sept/October each year!!!
The river is the shortest fastest flowing river in the US, coming down from the Olympic Mountains just behind our town, Sequim! I've only seen it flowing fast once in 18 years, in the summer it's shallow and meanders mostly.
Swimming is seen and some fishing near the bridge, esp on 4th July! It is so hot at this time of year here. đ
Distance Seattle to Sequim
There are 48.42 miles from Seattle to Sequim in northwest direction and 68 miles (109.44 kilometers) by car and ferry, following the WA 104 route. Seattle and Sequim are 1 hour 43 mins far apart, if you drive non-stop for 1 hour 18 mins and take a ferry for 24 minutes.
SEQUIM LAVENDER FESTIVAL
is held every July.
In the middle of the month.
This is the largest ***Lavender Festival in North America and attracts over 30,000 visitors from around the world.

We owned a Bed & Breakfast on acreage with TOP Race Horses and TOP Racing Pigeons in South Africa from the 80's until 2018!
Both our Horses and our Pigeons won trophies and Awards. What a Great Experience and a HUGE Blessing that was for us!

We have 2 Available Golf Professionals on site for Golf Lessons+Games at any of the 3 local courses. Just request on Booking or anytime. One or the other is usually always available! ;D

This is quiet beautiful countryside! with the SALT WATER, Dungeness River & Bird Watching & 3 GOLF COURSES are within a mile to 4 miles reach!
All the homes are on an acre or 2 or 10!+ :)

We love this area as we are only 1 mile from the Strait of Juan de fuca!
Beach, boat launch, kayaking under the eagles flying right overhead!
(+ trying to steal our White Wedding Doves!)
(they have a nest next door plus one up the road)
and besides the deer in our garden, the peacocks roam up to your door and even the odd bear has followed the river:
(that enters the salt water, literally 1 mile down the road from here)
From upstream in the mountains plus the odd cougar is sighted very occasionally tho - behind the hill!
Don't be put off ;D
It's quiet and absolutely peaceful and lovely here!
Town is 4 miles straight up our road with my favorite Restaurant and Coffee shops ;) âĄâĄ
