Hosts on the Coast Vista Verde
Vista Verde is a three-bedroom two-bathroom Pauanui bach. Enjoying a peaceful position with views over the golf course, this low-key Pauanui base is an excellent option for a simple beach break!
This Pauanui bach includes two open-plan living areas, ensuring ample room for your group to enjoy their space.
The rear living area flows onto the deck, where you can fire up the BBQ and take in the golf course views.
Bedroom one at this Pauanui bach includes an en suite bathroom and is fitted with a queen bed. Bedroom two has a double bed, and bedroom three is fitted with one single bed and trundler and a double bed. You will also find a single bed in the living area when required. Everyone can head back to those beds after feasting on snacks and drinks from the two fridges waiting to be stocked â and if you need to nip out to the shops to get more, thereâs plenty of parking, so no need to shuffle things around to get out and about!
Chill out on the deck, enjoy a game of golf, or head to the beachâŠthe choice is yours!
Pauanui is a small town on the east coast of the Coromandel, located between Whangamata and Whitianga itâs about 2 hours from Auckland and Hamilton. There are around 1000 locals in Pauanui but over the busy summer season, those numbers swell to over 15,000. It is a fantastic spot for fishing, hiking, surfing or just relaxing on the beach. Although itâs a small town there are cafes, restaurants, bars, and even a small supermarket.
If you are an active relaxer you could hike up Mt Pauanui or walk around the coastal track at the base of the mountain. There is also a boardwalk and bike track that takes you to Tairua. So, hop on your bike or pop on your walking shoes and check out the scenery and wildlife and grab an ice cream in Tairua. If the kids want something to do there is a skatepark and a play park so this should keep them busy for a couple of hours. You could drive them out to the Puketui watering hole which is about 15 minutes from Pauanui. Itâs a great place to cool down on those hot summer days!
