We loved every aspect of our stay. Everyone was kind, helpful and prompt to respond to any inquiry. The property is stunning, the porch is delightful, space is comfortable, and the neighbors were super kind. Simply cannot say enough. Highly recommend.

Have stayed in many homes on Long Island over the years. None come close to “One Love” The owners, and property manager, were very helpful and efficient. The house was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was a perfect vacation in a beautiful house on a beautiful beach.

One Love is a magical place inside and out. The house is designed beautifully and the artwork is extraordinary. Our family of 8 fit comfortably with room to spare. The location is great, tons of beaches nearby if you don't want to hang out at the quiet one right out your front door. Host was very communicative. Grocery and cute coffee shop minutes away. We would definitely come back!!!

This home has absolutely everything you could need to get away with family or friends and experience the island in comfort. It’s spacious, unique and offers an unbeatable beach location. Our family stayed for 7 days and loved every minute of it. The owners were fantastic in helping us plan our days and provided local contacts to help us make the most of our time. Every suggestion they had was better than we expected. Our kids (age 14-23) had fun exploring even right out back. It’s definitely a slower pace but perfect to unplug for a while. We will definitely be back!

Family Spring Break

The entire family loved our trip to Long Island. One Love is the ideal beach house. Only steps from the water located on a secluded beach, this is a beautiful home with wonderful spaces both inside and outdoors. The home is warm and welcoming and the furnishings are both comfortable and beautiful. The layout of the house gives everyone the space and privacy needed to enjoy a vacation together.

Wonderful stay!!

What a wonderful house!! We just got back to florida from a 6 night stay at the beautiful OneLove house. The owner, Stephan and the house manager, Cheryl were so welcoming and informative prior to our stay as well as the entire time we were on the Island. We cant wait to be back at this perfect rental home. We could not imagine anything better!! Top notch property!!

The best property we have rented

I couldn't have asked for more from this property. The location is fantastic, right on a private beach with nobody around to bother us. On the rare occasion when we saw a neighbor, though, we were greeted with much friendliness. We had both the main house and the guest cottage, and both were in outstanding condition and immaculately cared for. I've never before stayed in a property this clean, and the extra amenities found throughout the house were amazing. I would not hesitate to book here again the next time we find ourselves looking at a trip to the Bahamas.

Christmas in paradise

This is a stunning home built with no expense spared and beautifully decorated. It’s a quiet road on a private beach with beautiful water and views. There was nothing we could’ve needed that wasn’t there. The owner is very responsive and attentive and his property manager was so kind and made sure our vacation was perfect. We would stay here again for sure.

Perfect Getaway

We've been fortunate to visit Long Island, Bahamas as a family on multiple occasions, this being our first stay at One Love. One Love was perfect. The house is immaculate, the beach is beautiful, and the ocean is serene. Stephan, Janice, and Cheryl are incredibly kind and helpful hosts. We would absolutely return and wholefully encourage anyone interested in a Bahamian vacation to stay at One Love.

Paradise…

We had a lovely time at One Love cottage. Stephan and Janice were wonderful and gracious hosts with many excellent recommendations for almost anything you could think of on Long Island, from best beaches and restaurants to grocery spots and day excursion musts. We loved waking up in the morning and seeing the sea from every window. Earnest at Gordon’s Beach is delightful and Erika’s bakery is a must-the rum cake is just delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at One Love cottage and plan to be back soon. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home!

A really special place.

My friends and I have traveled to Long Island and stayed at One Love for the past three years in a row. We fly in from across the country for an annual dive trip and look forward to it all year. The house is just amazing. The check in has always been a breeze, the neighbors are very welcoming and accommodations superb. Every year we marvel at how well the home was constructed and the owners decorating style. Could not recommend this house enough. A truly unique and special place. We are very lucky the owners have opened up this home for others to share!

Beautiful comfortable house with great managment

One Love is a beautiful house right on the water and the ownership and management is top notch, which really makes the stay so easy and smooth. The kitchen has everything you might need. There are kayaks and paddle hoards. Depending on the time of year the beach may have more or less sand but there are tons of gorgeous beaches nearby and there’s no one on any of them!The manager Cheryl is a wealth of information about the island and full of great recommendations to add to the many they will send you even before arrival and provide in the binder at the house. We had a great stay at One Love and definitely recommend it!

So much love, joy, magic.

I was celebrating my 50th birthday with my husband and 7 dear friends for whom this was their first time to Long Island. One Love was the perfect place. The home is gorgeously appointed (the sheets!) and property well maintained. The wonderful neighbors and delightful chickens and goats were an unexpected bonus. There’s a palpable energy of love and joy. Stephan and Janice have created a gem, what an honor to experience One Love.

Amazing Vacation Home

What an amazing vacation home on Long Island. I can say that the photos and other reviews don’t do this place justice. The One Love Cottage exceeded our expectations!! The home is exquisite! Beautiful property and beautiful home!! Fantastic layout for our group and the home has everything that you could possibly need. Both the home owner Janice and the property manager Cheryl were so helpful and friendly! The island is also so magical a quaint getaway with some Of the kindest people we have ever met! From the beach side bars and restaurants to the crew at Long Island Harbor everyone on the island were so welcoming to all of us.! Don’t miss out on this amazing home and island.you will not regret it!!

Paradise Found

This was our second year staying at One Love - after our first visit, we knew we had to return to both this house and the amazing Island. It truly is the most beautifully built and decorated house with every item possible you could ever need while on vacation. The house was spotless, the beds extremely comfortable, layout was great for our family of 4 with plenty of room to spare, the house is centrally located on the island to easily explore both ends and between the screened porch, beach and gazebo, we always had a relaxing place to enjoy the sunshine and breeze outside. Communication was great with both Janice, the owner, and Cheryl, the caretaker. Both checked in to ensure we were enjoying our stay and Cheryl gave great beach and restaurant recommendations. Do not hesitate to visit One Love and Long Island - you will never want to go anywhere else!

Absolutely beautiful

The photos really do not do “One Love” justice. I know people say that frequently, but it is true with One Love. The house is beautiful, very well maintained, stocked with everything you might need and spotlessly clean. It’s only about 10 or 15 minutes to the bigger grocery store. Stephan and Janice were very easy to communicate with and very willing to help. We would definitely like to come back and stay at One Love.

Amazing!

What an incredible experience! This house is beautiful and fully stocked. The quality of everything is top notch. Very interesting art throughout the property. We loved the quiet setting and the private beach with goats roaming through every now and then. Lots of quality beach toys, kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkel equipment. We loved the location in the middle of the island, as we explored the island from one end to the other. So many beautiful beaches with no people! Cheryl, Jancie and Stephan were very attentive and easy to contact if we had a question. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise! We will definitely be back!

WOW!

All I can say is WOW. One Love is by far the best vacation rental my family and I have ever stayed in. Janice, Stephan and the property manager Cheryl were all wonderful and so helpful and full of information. The pictures of the house don’t do it justice - the view is endless Caribbean blue water, the house and property are meticulously maintained, the house is clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything you could possibly need and the back porch is the best spot for the evening sunsets. The location is quiet and centrally located which made it easy to explore both ends of the island and everything in between. We fell in love with One Love and Long Island and cannot wait to return next year! Thank you Janice and Stephan for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

Beautiful Beach Home!

Janice & Stephan's Extraordinary Beach Home is a Must for the Lover of the Out Islands of the Bahamas! The idyllic setting, on the Caribbean, transports you into an Endless Vision of Calm Blue Waters! The House is beautifully decorated, immaculate, and has all the indoor and outdoor amenities one would desire! The appliances, utensils, cooking gadgets, and grill are top-notch! The kayaks and paddleboards add to the enjoyment of the water. Cheryl, the property manager, is Wonderful! She is always available to troubleshoot issues or give tourist-related advice!! The hosts are also always available to answer questions. The neighbors are very friendly! One gentleman even used his own boat to show us some great snorkeling spots. We have stayed in many houses in the Bahamas, this house is on the TOP of our Favoite List!! We cannot wait to return! But the next time, we will stay Much Longer ;-)

Amazing Property, Wonderful Owners

Walking into One Love, is like entering a dreamy, tropical snow globe - filled with color, incredible art, cozy comfort, custom details and gorgeous sea views. Nestled among palm trees and crystal blue water, One Love proved a perfect fit for our family of 6. We have traveled to Long Island (one of our favorite places in the world) 4 times and this is the most amazing place we have stayed there. The home sparkles with all the luxurious comforts along with a true Bahamian charm. We particularly loved the extra space of the cottage and the ideal, perfect location on the island. The owners, Janice and Stephan, are lovely, wonderful people who did not hesitate to help us problem solve a few questions. We met the neighbors as well and they not only offered friendly hellos and tips, but also brought over freshly made conch salad! I would be remiss not to mention their amazing, kind and resourceful property manager, Cheryl. Her knowledge of the area never ceases to amaze us. Thank you for a beautiful 2 weeks where could press pause on the chaos of our lives and embrace our family!
