Featuring private parking just steps away from the PIN-coded front door, this wheelchair accessible main floor apartment feels like a private luxury suite. With floor to ceiling windows connecting the living areas with its southeast facing sunny terrace, the Klosterberghaus is nestled between the historic Kloster (Abbey) Oberelchingen and surrounding beautiful walking trails, and forest paths, situated directly on Jacob’s route.
Nestled on the edge of the Swabian Alb, this neighborhood provides sweeping views to the South. By car, 11 km from Ulm‘s Münster cathedral; 23 km from Legoland; the A7/A8 Autobahn crossing is a few short driving minutes away, efficiently sending you on your way in every direction. Even without a car guests have flexibility: a 700m walk down the hill to the Oberelchingen train station offers direct transport to the Ulm central station. An 8-minute ride away from connections in all directions is a small price to pay for the luxury of immediate access to trails that explore the beautiful, calming landscapes that Nature provides this area.
For efficient work and leisure, complementary high-speed WiFi is provided throughout the homestay.
The bedroom encourages deep sleep, The living room is bright and welcoming, featuring a large smart flat-screen TV with a home stereo system, 3D DVD player/glasses, and both cable and satellite programming.
The fully-equipped bright kitchen is a highlight, featuring granite countertops, a side-by-side American fridge, induction stovetop, dishwasher, and all the basic appliances and cooking utensils you might need to prepare any meal, down to preparing a fresh French-pressed bean brew or quick drink from the coffee capsule machine.
The porcelain tiled bathroom with a walk-in rainfall shower is equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
One shouldn’t forget to mention the cozy bedroom’s high quality bed and linens, rivaling the comfort found in quality hotels!
The Klosterbräustuben is located 250 m away, with a highly enjoyable beer garden open late-Spring through the Fall. The apartment is facing a quiet private street, completely meeting COVID-19 hygiene social distancing and hygiene regulations. You can even have complete contactless check in and check out without additional deposit and arrangements with us!
Our guests consistently remark that the apartment is strikingly restorative, to which we credit to the abundance of natural light, hand-oiled wood floors and quality lime plaster walls, which materials provide an excellent natural living climate.
Weekly housekeeping is strongly suggested, and offered at an affordable price.
We are happy to accommodate longer stays of three weeks or more! The apartment may then only be rented to one tenant, but the occasional visitor is okay. Please contact us directly for more information.
