Convenient for the Theater

We were in town to watch Wicked and this place was perfect - close to dining options and the theater. The Vrbo was great for our family of 5.

Uggg…the pictures aren’t current. Dirty glasses in cabinet, dirty carpet and stained sofa bed mattress . Washer/dryer in the basement (no elevator in building). Very loud traffic on the weekends late into night making sleep impossible. Very loud bathroom fan. TV streaming services kept getting interrupted with buffering message.

Thank you for your feedback. Regarding the listing photos, the only difference is the addition of a sofa in the living room to provide more seating for guests. Regarding your other concerns, the property description does mention that there is no elevator in the building and that the washer and dryer are located in the basement. Additionally, because the building is centrally located in the city, some street noise is to be expected; this is why we provide sound machines and earplugs on the nightstands in each bedroom. Finally, we did not receive a message from you regarding the loud bathroom fan. Had we known, our maintenance team would have come out immediately to resolve the issue.

Apartment was very clean and spacious and in a walkable neighborhood to restaurants and bars. It was a bit dated and you could hear street noise very well each night so no one slept well. they should put white noise machines in the room or get better windows.

Thank You for your feedback. We do mention in the description that outside traffic and pedestrians noise may be heard, this is why we do provide little black sound machines to help minimize the outside noise. They are located on the side tables in the bedrooms.

Easy process to check in. Good communication. We had a problem with the heater and was fixed within 2 hours with maintenance. Restaurants new by. Easy parking.

Great location!

Great location! Literally right in the middle of the strip where all the bars and restaurants are. Very walkable. Definitely recommend paying for parking pass as it makes everything way easier. Apartment was nice, very small. The only odd thing was that it is in entire apartment building of rentals which is different but otherwise it was a very pleasant stay. We’d stay again!

Great location to experience Indy!

We stayed for 2 nights with our college-age son and daughter. Plenty of space for everyone and quick walk to bars and restaurants in the area. Furnace is a little loud (located behind louvered doors in kitchen) if you had anyone sleeping on pull out in family room, but beds were comfortable and bedrooms quiet. It would also be nice to have a table that seats 4 instead of 2, but we made it work. This is our new go-to place when we visit Indy!

MEQ VB Stay

Clean. Close to restaurants. Not far from mall or convention center. Parking area was nice. 217 side of the building is near a couple bars. From 1A-230A it was loud outside. Yelling and screaming. Lots of horns beeping. Also could hear trash dumps from bars tossing can and bottles in dumpsters between 230-3A

Really a great place.

The venue was very clean with current decor and furniture. Everything worked and was clean. All necessary amenities provided. We stayed right downtown Indy with limited parking, but parking was included in the cost and was under the property we stayed in. They do contract with a 3rd party for access to the building and the unit, however the check in and out process was thoroughly explained (with a YouTube vide) and was really quite easy. Parking pass included. Getting around was really easy from the location and some great restaurants nearby. The most impressive thing was communications with Mitten Company staff. Even though I could not contact them by phone, they quickly replied to every question and concern I had through the app and via email. They were very helpful and allowed me to and assisted me in making changes to my reservation. Over all it was a great experience and I will be using Mitten Company again for future reservations.

Nice apartment close to shopping and restaurants.

Overall, this was perfectly adequate for what we needed. We did spend a fair amount of time in the apartment, and it is not well stocked in the kitchen. There isn't an oven or even a toaster oven although there are baking dishes ironically. While the listing says 6 people can stay there, there are only dishes for 4. And if you want wine, bring an opener. Wine glasses but no opener. The thermostat was weird - got really cold overnight and eventually warmed up during the day, but we couldn't figure out how to get it to stay warm overnight, even when turned up to 72 degrees. Additionally there are no instructions about the WiFi, and we could never get it to work, even when we tried to look on the router and find it. Overall, it was perfectly fine for our needs, but only four stars because of rather incomplete kitchen and other issues mentioned.
