Cosy Nook - Flat 3 - Spacious, well equipped holiday unit
This unit has two separate bedrooms. The bedroom one has three single beds. The 2nd bedroom also contains three single beds. Bottom sheet/s and pillows are provided. Doona/s and towels can be supplied by request for a small extra charge.
The unit has an open plan living space with a well-appointed kitchen, dining area and lounge, where you will find all your basic needs, including a chest freezer for your catch of the day.
The unit has a step-free entrance, along with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet suite.
One of seven units at 93 Sydenham Parade (Cosy Nook Holiday Accommodation) and two cottages at 19 & 19A Wattle Street (Bemm River Cottages), we can accommodate you, your family, friends and clubs in well appointed and very comfortable surroundings. Both sites have ample free parking, and BBQ facilities and are great jumping off points for fishing, sightseeing, bush walking and local tourist hotspots. Accommodation for itinerant workers is also available.
Guests have access to an outdoor clothesline, extra shared toilets, free Wi-fi (Network ID & password listed on your fridge or scan the QR code with your mobile phone camera and click on the link), a covered carport, extra parking for cars, boats & trailers on the grassed area near the filleting table, shared with other guests.
The large BBQ area has presentation facilities, a large screen TV and seating for approx. 45 guests with a full kitchen, BBQs of all sorts, including: Our piÚce de résistance, a Global Warmer oven that cooks great pizzas and is also equipped with a hot/cold smoker. There is a hooded BBQ, a kettle BBQ, flat top BBQs, charcoal burners and a spit. Saturday nights are quite often pizza nights, BYO pizzas/ingredients, call if you wish to participate.
A well-equipped Guest Laundry with a coin operated washer and dryer, ironing board and iron, vacuum cleaner, laundry trough and clothes basket, along with clothes airers. There is also a large chest freezer in the laundry with bagged ice, payment works on an honesty system.
A Games Room is available to all guests, equipment includes: a pool table, with billiards, snooker and kelly pool. A table tennis table, hookey board, kiddies toys, guest PC, books, magazines, DVD's, The entertainment hub includes a large screen TV, DVD player and a stereo system. There are also comfortable couches and recliner armchairs chairs available. Netflix and Kayo Sports can be viewed in both the BBQ area and Games Room.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende
I have fished the Mighty Bemm for many, many years, usually making two to three trips down here per year, so when Cosy Nook came up for sale, we couldn't resist.
A lot of hard work and effort has gone into getting it back up and running and we have improved the facilities a fair bit. There is much more to do yet!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt
Cosy Nook has a great BBQ/Presentation area that can seat up to 35 guests. It is well equipped with all matter of BBQ's including our piÚce de résistance, a Global Warmer Oven, fitted with a hot/cold smoker. It cooks great pizzas as well (Saturday nights are quite often pizza nights - BYO pizzas/ingredients). There is also a well equipped kitchen and flat screen TV with access to Kayo Sports, Netflix & Amazon Prime movies.
It is also located in a quiet neck of the woods, around 500mts northeast of the township, which gives a nice secluded feel to the place. Landscaped gardens, which we are slowly getting back to their former glory, are also an asset.
