More Information Needed

The location and townhome itself were fantastic. The arrival was a bit frustrating due to lack of pertinent information. The address of the guard gate you are required to enter through to check in would have been very helpful. Instead we were told to follow GPS which took us through the closest gate to the home, which required a pass. Our driver had to sneak in with another car to get into the neighborhood. Additional info that would be helpful to know before booking is that there are no extra supplies and no cleaning supplies or basic condiments or kitchen supplies. All the basic kitchen pots, pans, flatware, etc. were there but nothing else. One trash bag supplied. There were also no bath mats or mat as you enter the home, requiring the use of towels. I think there was one towel per person provided. The code to the front door requires additional buttons that weren’t provided in the instructions, so that was tricky as well. It was a nice no frills accommodation, location is great. We figured it all out, and luckily we had a local connection to help us.

A Must! Great Location & Cozy Townhouse

The townhouse had almost everything needed. Our family had a wonderful stay. As like other comments bring laundry soap, dishwasher soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. However it had everything else. Easy access to Disney World, stores and restaurants. If your looking for something simple but yet cozy this is a great choice.

Our trip

We enjoyed our stay . We were attending a Disney wedding and where we were staying we had no problems getting back and forth. We rented a car but also utilized Lyft and had no problems. There were only little things , like we couldn’t figure out the TV’s in the bedrooms but that didn’t hinder our trip in any way ! We would definitely stay at this property again !

Girls trip

We had a great stay. Even though we knew about the one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and no hand soap would have been nice to be provided with two rolls per bathroom and hand soap. We didn’t check bags at airport and didn’t want to have to stop to buy these things for a short stay. Pool was clean! Colder than expected but very clean. Condo is clean! Also gate at entrance closest to condo was never closed. Very odd Also had a hard time finding club house. Overall good stay! Fit our needs perfect!

Perfect for our two families

Awesome stay. The kids loved the pool. The Minnie room has trundle beds so all three kids could bunk together. They loved that. The space was exactly what we needed for 7 people. Sometimes I miss the fine print; but a few notes that may help future travelers. The pool doesn't provide towels so make sure you bring some. It's worth throwing a couple garbage bags and dishwasher and laundry tabs into your luggage for your stay so you don't have to buy more than you'll need onsite. And if you're like me and horde hotel toiletries, bring them, too. (We needed extra handsoap.) The unit is located near the back gate to the complex, which made it super easy to come and go. Getting to Universal, Disney and the airport from the condo was a breeze. The kids have already decided we have to come back next year. Thanks for a great home away from home.

Great for what we needed

The house was as expected, lots of positive, definitely recommend as long as you know what to provide yourself. A few key points/observations to add to other reviews I've seen: - Day 1 access - all of the instructions only gave the address for the house, but you need to go to the front gate when you first arrive which is a different address. For my first day I had to go to 4700 Windermere which was on the other side of the neighborhood. - The neighborhood pool is great, and if you take the bridge down the street it's a .4 mile walk. They also offer golf cart transport, but it can take a while to wait for them to come get you. - The house was in good shape, as noted you'll need your own paper towels, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent and extra TP beyond the 1 roll given. Surprisingly it also didn't have washcloths, so had to use hand towels as washcloths. Would certainly stay again!

November 2021 Stay

This property is incredibly close and easy access to Disney. Well maintained and updated. Large enough for a family or two to stay at for sure. Loved the private dipping pool and it was very clean. Beds were comfortable with soft linens. Plenty of towels and washcloths provided. Very simple check out process. Only a few things I would recommend for future stays: directions on how to access and where the large pool/club area is located. We didn’t realize it was outside of our gated area and never used because it wasn’t worth the hassle to figure out. The master bedroom bathtub drained very slowly so we opted to have our toddler take a shower rather than bath because of the inconvenience. The kitchen sink/water/garbage disposal had a foul smell. While there were a few things we would have changed it does not take away from the great property. Would most certainly consider staying again.

Nice but wouldn’t stay again

I was very excited when I rented this townhouse. Once we arrived and settled in we realized that these townhouses are definitely not built for full time residents (although there are many in the community). The walls are paper thin and the “neighbors” move in and out every couple days (we were there 12). The house claims to be fully equipped, however when you cook dinner in the oven and then find out they don’t even supply oven mitts to get your hot pan out of the oven, you realize other things it is lacking, like a blender, measuring cup, pizza cutter, dish towel, etc. this house is only three years old but after taking my shower in the master bathroom upstairs and standing in 3 inches of water, I bought a drain wizard to unclog the drain and found more than 12” and years worth of long hair clogging it. That makes you wonder how thorough of a cleaning job the crew does when the tub surely has been backed up for years when they clean it. This house definitely needs a deep clean and fresh paint...and a new sofa. Overall the house was adequate, but I was ready leave by the end of our vacation. The pool was the perfect size for our family with young adults, however the houses behind us are literally less than 10 feet away so there isn’t much privacy. The house is located on the back side of the community near SR535 which was very convenient because it has its on entry gate on that side, however the exit gate was broken and open 100% of the time we were there as well as the entry gate being closed and would not open. People entering the community had to go through the exit gate. We witnessed many near collisions because of this. 1/2 way through our stay a car somehow ran through a fence and almost into a house. That damage was still there when we left with no one seeming to care about getting it fixed. Valet trash service at the house is a great benefit. We did not use the community pool or gym. While this is a fairly new community and is very convenient to major roads and Disney, I will be finding somewhere else to stay next time and I will never be staying in a rental townhouse again.

Amazing Stay

My family and I recently stayed at the property and the house is beautiful. It looks just like the pictures. The house is big enough that everyone was able to have their own space but not so big that you feel far apart. I loved that the living area was large and open. Perfect for family meals. The property manager was easy to be contacted and responded very promptly to any questions I had. This house was perfect for my family size (3 adults and 4 children). I would definitely recommend it to others.

Hated to Leave!

Our family loved this property! Beautiful decor and super clean, and we spent so much time in our little splash pool. There were some minor things that needed repairs - the towel rack and toilet paper holder were broken in the master bath and the Mickey and Minnie room had a broken doorknob, but that didn’t bother us too much. The kids rooms were so cute and the master was beautiful. We knew from other reviews to bring extra paper towels, hand soap, and toilet paper. If you have younger kids you may want to bring paper plates because the dishes are all very nice (and breakable). The kitchen was very well stocked and they had every utensil we could have ever asked for! The resort was just a quick 5 minute walk away and the amenities were awesome. The water slides were even better than they looked, the lazy river was relaxing, and the pool was big enough that even when there were a lot of people there was room to swim. There were some issues with our entry gate, the scan card we were given didn’t work, so sometimes it was tricky getting in. Overall we loved our stay, would definitely book again if we were in the area.

Nice place - terrible communication - locked out for almost 2 hours.

We arrived promptly at check in time with a truck tailgate full of cold groceries. There was no access code added to the app and when I reached out to the property management, it took 30 minutes to get a response that said “check your email from two months ago.” So I did and the code in the email didn’t work. I reached out to them again, it took almost 30 more minutes this time to hear back from them. This went back and forth (at this snails pace) for almost TWO hours! All the while I am calling the phone number affiliated with the listing - the emergency number and the regular line, trying to get ahold of someone. I called THREE times and waited on hold for 12-15 minutes - only to end up having to leave a voicemail each time - No call back - ever! Simultaneously doing the whole process of messaging via the app (asking the person to call ME - her refusing and insisting I call the same number I had called 3 times!) I had to call VRBO customer service for them to get through to this TERRIBLE management company, that finally helped me get in but with no apology or taking responsibility whatsoever. UNBELIEVABLE. Once we were in, the place was nice and clean, however the curtain came off the wall completely when we tried to open it, and it was obvious by its many patch jobs that this has happened a few times before. The O2 sensor went off about every minute all night long on our last night there which resulted in terrible sleep and about as great of an end as the start of our trip. Storey Lake and it’s amenities are awesome and we definitely recommend it, however, take our advice and do yourself a favor and book a different place with a different management company - this one is AWFUL!

Nice but disappointed

Clean place ,but the area is loud and too close together. Its a gated community but the back gate to the property was open all the time never closed. No salt , pepper one dish towel no sugar one garbage bag, a coffee maker with no filters , if you want to use a gas grill you have to call the gate and they will drop it off .A soap dispenser with no soap ,electrical switch's that don't work, the hose to fill the pool was just all over the place i rolled it up next to house so no would trip on it . My suggestion to the owner spend $20 at a Dollar store. The pictures of the location of the community pool are deceiving 20 min walk . I guess you get what you pay for . I did read that you need the items but not till after you pay , should be in the out line or the description of the house.

Great Experience

Everything about this property fit or needs. Great location, great accommodations. We comfortably fit 7 adults and one toddler perfectly, with room to spare. The pool was clean and safe for our little one. The kitchen was nicely equipped and served our needs. Communication with the owners was timely, clear and appreciated. The only aspects where I see room for improvement, are not a reflection of the property, nor on the owners. The neighborhood was noisy from time to time and one of the entry gates routinely backed up due with traffic due to it not working properly. This caused a less than safe situation as people would routinely, and swiftly enter using the exit gate, even though it only would open for a few seconds. We immediately recognized the issue and used the main gate on the other side of the neighborhood. Slight inconvenience but did not negatively impact our stay. Overall, I would confidently and comfortably recommend this rental to anyone.

Great Stay

We had a great stay for our trip to Disney. The house was nice and we loved having a kitchen and washing machine.The community was very nice but very large, we were trying to stay close to friends and from the map dot when you book it looked close but when we arrived we realized we were in another gated part of the community!

Great Location

Stayed there with the family including a 4 yo child. The location is great as it's literally a hop skip and jump away from disney world and a quick drive to universal as well. The heated pool was great for our daughter to swim in and wear her our between activities. Overall, it's a great place to relax and rewind

Perfect stay

The house was extremely clean , beautiful decoration , beautiful kitchen dishes and bed linen . Very comfort bed as well . I would just suggest more pool towels, and a rug from outside the pool area to inside the home . Other than that super perfect
