We stayed at this property June 17-24, 2018. First, I would like say that the owners were always pleasant and answered any questions we had in a very timely manner. We were happy to be able to take our fur babies and the location was wonderful with public access right across the street next to Cherry Grove Pier. However, there were several things that could be improved. The chairs in the living room were filthy. They were held together with duck tape and were sticky to the touch. The carpet and chairs in the bedrooms was severely stained, however there was laminate flooring in the unit, which made me think they were in the process of renovating. The AC would not cool below 78 the first night in the unit. My husband checked the filter and it was so clogged there was no air flow. Luckily, there were some filters in the laundry closet. After we changed it, the unit cooled normally for the rest of the week. The toilet started to overflow the first time in use so my husband used the plunger to unclog it, the vacuum was filled to the brim with dog hair, the shower in the hallway had a broken drain screen, there was dust covering the ceilings from the fan, blinds were broken, bed spreads were stained, etc. None of these issues individualally are deal breakers, but when I spend over 1400 on a rental, (pet fees, tax, cleaning, etc.) I don’t want to be doing maintenance and cleaning. It was also very annoying that only owners are allowed to park in the covered parking under the building. We stayed all week and not one car was ever parked there. It wouldn’t take much to make this rental wonderful, just a little deep cleaning and some new furniture. If these items were addressed, we would definitely stay in this condo again.
