Take in a panoramic, secluded view of Puget Sound from this newly renovated island home with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Enjoy the view from the porch, the hot tub, the hammock, or right from inside on the couch through a wall of windows that frame the open floor plan and vaulted ceilings.
The house has 3 bathrooms, including the master suite, which includes a queen-sized bed, fireplace, soaker bathtub and view of the water. A second bedroom on the lower level includes twin beds and another full, private bathroom. The third bedroom includes a full sized daybed with a twin sized trundle bed. There is also a queen-sized sofa bed located in the office.
There is a fully stocked grocery store right up the road from the house so you can take advantage of the full gourmet kitchen and gas BBQ grill. The kitchen is well appointed with dishes, glasses, cookware and so on. New stainless steel appliances give you lots of options for cooking at home if you decide to stay in. And why not stay in? You'll have access to a full two-story house nestled in a wooded bluff overlooking Port Susan and the Cascade Mountains beyond. It's the classic Great Northwest setting. Two fireplaces help you unwind after enjoying the sunset from the porch, where you can watch Great Blue Herons and Bald Eagles soaring over the water - you might even catch a glimpse of whales! You can also always stretch out with a good book in the hammock, and if the weather doesn't cooperate, there is WiFi, an internet television inside. Curl up by the fire and enjoy the spectacular views.
If you're feeling outdoorsy, stroll down one of the beaches, enjoy a hike, or you can always hop in the car and check out Camano Island State Park or Cama Beach Historical State Park. Or head north for a zip line adventure at Canopy Tours Northwest, followed by a quick bite and cup of coffee at Camano Island Marketplace. There are lots of options for outdoors enthusiasts or if you're just looking for a quiet spot to unwind.
Camano Island is about an hour's drive north of Seattle, and is accessible by car - so you don't need to worry about sitting in the ferry line. Just drive on and escape to your island retreat!
