Great week at the beach

Reviewer Comments: Great location, loved the amenities--had a tennis and pickleball court but also played shuffleboard and corn hole with the kids--lots of fun on the property. Property doesn't have a view of the beach--it is situated just behind other condos that do--but it was very close and beach access was awesome.

Great family vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved our stay. Very close to the beach. 5 minute walk. Trolley service was amazing and they were with us quickly. I will say the floors at our condo were very dirty when we arrived. We called and they had a cleaning service there the next day. Other than that we highly recommend. It was quiet at night. Beds very comfortable and great showers. The washer and dryer were very quiet which is great because it’s in the hallway next to the master. Staying next to the pool was also a plus.

Thanksgiving Trip to the Beach

It was a little off the main drag, which was good and is in between Seaside and Rosemary. The place could use a new mattress, new pillows and a MAJOR cleaning overhaul. It was supplied with a lot of items that we needed and that you'd find in a kitchen. Overall, I would stay here again if needed!

Beachside Villas

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our experience with Harmony Beach Vacation rental was awesome. They are very helpful and accommodating. We have stayed at Beachside villas for 3 years now and plan on next year as well. The only thing we have not enjoyed is the where your beach chairs are allowed. The first year we were not allowed to sit to the right of sugar dunes, the second year we could rent chairs to the right of sugar dunes, and this year we had a small area we could set our chairs. Eastern lake is still a distance but the golf cart accommodations was a big help. My only other bad experience with Beachside Villas and Harmony Beach Vacation is the past two years my original unit booked has sold two years in a row and the first year I got moved twice. I scope out what units I want before leaving and to change closer to my stay is a little aggravating. All in all we plan to give Harmony Beach Vacations another shot again next year!

Poor Communication

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for 3 months while we were in the process of moving to the area. For the most part things went smoothly until the last month. I received an email that contained the wrong checkout date. I immediately contacted the office and was told if it was wrong they would fix it. The incorrect date was never corrected which I could see based on their website. Two days before checkout I once again contacted the office to confirm our correct date on Saturday. I was told, "our system shows your checkout is Friday and that's what was paid for according to them." WRONG!! I sent my original confirmation stating we booked til Saturday. They tried to offer me a "free" night on Friday which was not free since I had in fact paid for it. Once I sent the original showing they were wrong they didn't even apologize but said I was correct. Come Friday morning though here are the cleaners trying to get into the condo. Very poor communication and customer service. This issue could have been avoided a month ahead of time when I originally contacted them but it was not.

Condo was okay, a little older but met our needs. The tram driver for the beach was awesome- so friendly. Not great if you need to use the WIFI for work or streaming.

Very comfortable condo

This condo was close to the pool and tennis courts, had a well equipped kitchen, good WiFi, T,V.s in every bedroom and a short walk to the public beach. On ste management was responsive to any problems we encountered and moved quickly to resolve them.

Best Florida rental yet!

The property is perfect! 3 bedrooms, plenty of space, easy beach access, centrally located to restaurants and shopping. A quick 2 mile bike ride to The Hub and a nice evening walk to the Fish House or Kavae for breakfast. Easy check in, nice communication and we'll be back.

Enjoyed

The condo is very nice. There were a few small things that I would say can be corrected, but weren't a big issue. 1. A few of the shelves in the door of the refrigerator were broken- which limited you on some grocery storage. 2. There were only a couple of pots/pans to use in the kitchen and they are very old with the Teflon peeling off of them. 3. The TVs are very dated in the condo. The washer and dryer are very nice. There was a coffee pot, Keurig and a crock pot which were all wonderful! The beds were comfy, the outside balcony was wonderful.

Overall Great Stay

Everything was clean and location was excellent. Only feedback is when property provided address and details they left out specifics for the unit and beach access info is inaccurate. There is no longer a private beach lease for this property. The property manager needs to update those details online and in the condo welcome packet. Thank you for a great week.

Updated condo, comfortable layout, but needs a good deep clean.

The the condo is well appointed. We could tell that extra effort was given by the owner to make this unit comfortable. The included beach service was really nice even though we had to walk quite a distance down the beach to reach the chairs. The unit needs a good deep clean. The vents are coated with dust. Unfortunately the roof was being replaced while we were there so not only was it loud, we could not enjoy the balcony for safety reasons because parts were landing on the balcony. It would have been nice to have received a warning that roof work would be happening during our stay. Especially since it really was a safety issue.

Did not meet expectations

The location of this unit was walking distance to the beach…though the designated beach area for this complex was inconvenient to get to. The cleanliness of this property did not meet our expectations . When we arrived, just after the cleaning crew finished, it smelled strongly of cleaning product, but at closer look it was not clean. The interior doors/door handles were filthy, the floors were still sandy and extremely dirty, there was mold on the toilet seat, and the shower drain in master bath was clogged and shower still had sand in it….just to mention a few items. The positives- the kitchen was well stocked with glassware/dishes/cooking pans, and the unit was nicely decorated. The property management company only supplies 2 Trash bags for 7 days- when we ran out he was very responsive getting us more. The pool and tennis courts were nice amenities.

Nice get away

Upon arrival the door code didn’t work (reset quickly- no more problems), the tv had to be reprogrammed (again easy fix) and the shower head in the master fell off (again easy fix by replacing the wing nut). The master bed was extremely comfortable!! My only issue with our stay was the draining of the lake. Made the ocean an ugly brown color. Obviously the owner had no control over that. Overall a nice place to relax.

Beautiful condo

This condo is beautifully decorated , very comfortable, & has all the essentials. The 2 king beds were a real plus for us. The large balcony is great for relaxing. The only negative was the sub par cleaning prior to our arrival. Floors were dirty, rugs very sandy, stovetop was filthy, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, dirty under beds with socks from previous guests. We were also disappointed with the lack of public beach access this year close to the Beachside Villas complex.

The Beachside Villas has been a favorite place of ours for more than a decade but this has been the best stay ever. The condo is extremely up-to-date and the amenities are everything we could have needed and more. The appliances are nicer than my own and you can't get a place in a better location. This condo is "storm worthy" in that a tropical storm was going to arrive the day of our departure, everyone else was leaving a day early but we stuck it out because we hated to leave.
